"We will win the game" as the the Jimmy Johnson quote goes, I think.

We will win, bank it.
Its a very big game for the Cowboys, and I want a win.

"How bout dem Cowboys" another Jimmy quote.

I'm worried

They wanted that Commander game last weekend on national TV in the worst way, and their offense was anemic.

I'm not.

Hope I'm not wrong.

The only reason I'm a little worried is the fact that it is at their home place and its been a while since we beat philly in philly. but the giants were undefeated at home TIL TODAY, so all hope is not lost, I think we'll win a good game by pulling away in the 4th after their limited offense burns out....boys win 27-17

GO COWBOYS!!

The Giants hadn't lost a home game all year and the Vikings hadn't won a road game all year... anything can happen. A division rival on MNF, throw out the records! Damn I'm pumped for this.

Yhea, I am worried as well. I know we have the better team, but that does not always do it.

All the intangibles are on Philly's side.

We are going to have to play an awesome game to win it IMO. I fully expect this will be the best game Philly plays the second half of the year, and I can see this one going either way.

3-0, 21-20, 40-0, I could care less as long as we find a way to get out of there with a win.

IMO this one will be much closer than what many around here think.

I will be as pumped tomorrow night for this one as I have been in probably 10 years. :star:

The opportunity is big, VICTORY WOULD BE HUGE!

How long has it been since Philly lost 3 in a row?

That's the mountain we are trying to climb. Putting #3 on them in their yard is not going to be easy.

How long has it been since we swept Philly?

Yet another mountain.

Their whole week will have been about focus because of the TO debacle. One of two things will happen.

1. Their spirit is broken by all the hoopla, injuries, and losses.

or..

2. We're about to face a focused, angry team.

I suspect that's what we will get....we simply will have to be just as focused and more determined.

I'm beginning to think all this junk about off-the-field disturbances when it comes to team motivation doesn't mean a thing. If it walks, quacks and swims like a duck, it's a duck, and the Iggles won't be changing their ways after 8 games. They might have a good game, but the offense knows how to exploit their defense. That gives me more hope than anything.

The question is, will the Cowboys be well rested, or flat from inactivity?

The more I watch football, the more I see teams come off of bye weeks flat rather than rested and ready.

I don't think either one are the exception or the rule, but I'll admit, I would much prefer to come off a bye week at home rather than on the road.

I certainly hope it's not the latter.

Or it could be both.

We will face an angry team whose spirit will be broken by all the hoopla, injuries, losses, and of course, the Cowboys.

My take: Philly is without their starting center and his replacement is off the practice squad. Fergy and Glover are chopping at the bit........

Owens will be secondary to the problems McNabb will face with our young defensive line swarming him all night.
