I am not attacking the Charger fans in their defending their players and their "house" but shouldnt they look themselves in the mirror?

I am talking about the lack of class the Charger players also showed on the field.

Florence head butted a Patriot... Merriman doing his Lights Out dance off a pressure/hit... blah blah blah.


EDIT: And also the late hit (shove in the back) after a PAT.

Last week at halftime of the jets-pats game merriman was interviewed on cbs.

he was sitting there in a tank top...and said he thought the jets would win and they were the better team.

add in the fact that he failed a steroid test and is out there dancing after making a play in the first quarter and the pats vets will have something to say.

I was suprised by lt's actions. Especially after he completely ripped rosey colvin down by his face mask...with no penalty for crying out loud.

The chargers have to take their medicine.

I feel bad for marty schottenheimer. At the same time though its hard not to like brady and the colts-pats game is everything an nfl fan wants.

the colts finally get the pats at home and in a year there defense has played great.

that has classic written all over it.

They do it on both sides of the ball. A first down? A pose. A catch? An "in your face moment. A routine tackle for a 1 yard loss? A "Mark Gastinou" tirade. A sack? Like a cocaine induced out-of-body experience.
But offensive players get it alot more than defensive players get it, simply by the nature of the game. On every play there's an oppurtunity for a defensive player to "go off" and celebrate over routine plays. Offensive players can only take so much. Play after play after play, having to watch the insanity.
The Chargers, and Merriman in particular had it coming. They can dish it, so take it. This was a huge win in San Diego for the Pats. All week long having to hear how they were out-manned, playing the best team in the league, LT, Merriman, etc..............LT's is a class guy, but he sullyied his gig with that show he put on tonight.

He probably didnt have to point a finger at BB but if he meant it he meant it.

The truth hurts sometimes.

My biggest beef witht he whole thing is IF someone else said it... like a Randy Moss or God forbid TO. Might be a little early to make assumptions but the media would go nuts over this... might just happen with LT, we'll see soon enough.
