I don't know if anyone cares.
Radio Stuff: Sean Salisbury Is Out At 'The Fan'
Oh Yeah: It's 'FISH on ESPN' Tonight From 10-To-Midnight
By Mike Fisher -- DB.com
On Jan. 25, we interviewed Sean Salisbury and broke the news that the former NFL quarterback and ESPN analyst was coming to Dallas to join the new sports station, 105.3 The Fan. Now we bring you different news:
Salisbury is out at the increasingly impactful new sports station, 105.3 The Fan.
Yeah. “Out’’ as in “no longer with the station.’’ And let me suggest to you that The Fan ain't messin' around: Salisbury was gone before he could go on the air this afternoon, and on the station's website, Salisbury's presence there has been erased.
Meanwhile, in other broadcasting news, in case you are interested in something almost as juicy, I’m hosting on 103.3 ESPN Radio tonight from 10-to-midnight.
Sean Salisbury Fired From Radio Station, Allegedly For More Cellphone Hijinks (Semi-Update)

Sean Salisbury was employed at Dallas radio station 105.3 (who knew!) but apparently he's already out. You'll never guess what the rumor is as to why he was let go.
According to one source close to the station, Salisbury "freaked out a station promo girl after sexting her". Program director Tom Bigby had no comment about the alleged incident but said that a formal press release about Salisbury's dismissal is forthcoming. Damn.
The old number we have for Salisbury isn't working, but hopefully he'll have a comment about this at some point.
From one reader:
I listen to The Fan in Dallas pretty much every day, particulalry in the afternoon when Salisbury is on. About a month ago when the cowboys were preparing to go to camp, salisbury was doing a show on location somewhere. On air he asked out one of the promo girls to go to San Antonio with him to cowboys camp. He got her number off air on commercial break and later bragged on air about getting the girl's number. They even posted a picture of her on the 105.3 website to prove how "hot" she was. I think her name was Julie if I remember correctly. Anyways, no idea if this is the same girl that is making this accusation but I thought this sounded like it could be the same girl.
Report: Salisbury fired for cell phone shenanigans

Former NFL quarterback Sean Salisbury was a journeyman at best during his NFL career. After retiring from football, he became a mini-star at ESPN, despite an annoying tendency to speak in absolutes and hyperbole. (Case in point, he said before Super Bowl XLI that, if Devin Hester of the Bears returns a kick for a touchdown, Chicago will win. Hester did. Chicago didn't.)
He left ESPN in early 2008, claiming that he wanted to move on to bigger and better things. Some thought that the powers-that-be in Bristol might not have been all that upset about the development.
Since then, Salisbury has generally faded into oblivion.
He'll be even more oblivious, according to the folks at ********, because he has been fired from Dallas radio station 105.3 the Fan. Per ********, Salisbury "freaked out a station promo girl after sexting her."
Salisbury reportedly got himself into hot water while in Bristol for showing to co-workers a certain type of self-portrait.
