I know a scout myself, and he told me Morris was the idea, I even posted so in noletime's other thread...Morris is cut from the Dungy mold and will be a good one, IMO.

No they don't. They gave up a lot to get Gruden back in the day and he's a heck of a coach. They didn't have much to work with on offense, believe me got what he could out of that side of the ball. I think it has a lot to do with Monte Kiffin hitting the bricks so there is a whole new philosophy. Wonder if Parcells or Jimmy Johnson ends up being their GM, lol! I know it's not the case but what's this big surprise? No big names other than Shanny, Gruden and Mariucci (kinda) out there. Unless Holmgren is gonna be just a GM or something. Who knows. Maybe Matt Millen is going to take over. But the Glazers do not mess around, I respect them.

The only message I got I posted earlier. Garrett is gone as OC. Most likely to St. Louis. I suppose there's still a chance he could be the HC here, but I'd say that is slim and none.

The Brian Stewart firing shocked me. That came form nowhere.

Or maybe "this time tomorrow", the coaching landscape of the NFL is going to look a lot different.

This stuff, I don't recall this much activity surrounding the coaching fraternity in my life! And, of course, our Cowboys are right in the thick of it.

It's a testament in many wins to the shelf-life of an NFL coach. "Instant gratification" is the rule of the day. A SB win may buy you a few years, but that's about it. Used to be that if a coach EVER won a SB, he's usually stay until HE decided to leave.

Those days are looooooooong gone, and probably have been for a while now.

Actually, with this bunch of impostors and counterfeits still left in the playoffs, it's given me a ton of "NFL entertainment". Because, heaven knows that I'm not very interested in this rabble of teams left. It's turning out to be the best time of the NFL year, not because of the four teams left and the playoffs. But this coaching drama is just crazy...............
