It is sad and happy at the same time. I know there is a sanctuary out in California, who takes in Elephants and lets them roam on the huge property they have, there is a youtube video of it. Elephants, are soo beautiful.

I am one who loves the zoo, but I get why people are against it. It is more to admire the beauty of animals rather than seeing caged ones. I 100% can not support, going to the circus though.

Yes, I will never take my daughter to the circus. i have mixed feeling about Zoos. If they take in animals that could not survive in the wild I suppose that's OK, but if they are snatching animals from their natural habitat to put them on show, I cannot support. My zoo has been notorious for killing animals.

When I was young I never cared about these kinds of things. Maybe I just didn't "notice" these kinds of things.

The wife and I will never take our daughter to the circus.

I even have mixed feelings about zoo's. But, in general they do serve a good purpose.

It takes a sick individual that wishes to do harm to defenseless animals.

I would be the first in line to mete out justice to these people. They wouldn't like it.

This was a great read.

What the? That's a messed up track record. Have they mentioned foul play being involved?

Elephant abuse is widespread in Asia
Raju, an elephant in India that cried when rescued after 50 years of cruelty, was not an isolated incident; more than 2,000 elephants endure similar torture

What the **** is wrong with people? I'll never understand how these sick ****s consciously abuse an innocent creature. We seriously don't deserve to be at the top of the food chain.

Sometimes, actions are in deed, bottom of the barrel of existence for some men. And there is no hiding that feelings are real to animals as they are for people.
