Turnovers kept Dallas from winning big, IMO.
Murray fumble - They were in easy Field Goal range with a good shot at a TD.
Romo INT - Again, they were in FG range with a good chance for a TD.
Harris fumble - He fumbled on a kick return.
The turnovers contributed to the defense looking fatigued later in the game.
Rolando McClain was injured at some point and IIRC, he didn't return.
Romo had 2 miracle type throws with one coming after he evaded Watt.
Dez had a miracle type catch late on one of Romo's miracle throws.
Watt was not a huge factor in the game. He did whip Tyron on one outside rush that was the worst play that I've seen by Tyron this season. Watt was in and out of the lineup and possibly limited with a quad strain.
The defense struggled with Arian Foster. The Texans had at least 3 big runs outside when the RDE was Jack Crawford. One of those might have been the fault of Durant, because when the DE crashes down inside, the LB has to maintain outside run support, but Durant allowed himself to get blocked to the inside.
I can't remember seeing much of Spencer but I wasn't too focused on looking for him. They need more snaps from him and less from Jack Crawford going forward.
My initial impression was the Melton didn't do much, but T. Crawford was good again. It appears that T. Crawford is the #1 DL on the team now. He's the best 3-tech DT which he played this week and last and he was probably the best DE when he played there in the first 3 games.
JJ Wilcox made some big plays. He had a QB hit and some nice tackles at the line for no gain.
Scandrick had an INT. The only thing previously keeping Scandrick from being an elite CB was a lack of INTs.
Moore looked decent as the 3rd CB.
Hitchens was the 3rd LB and looked OK from my initial impression. He almost had an INT when the Texans were about to score. He got a good read on the play and was in good position but the ball went through his hands. It good to see a rookie understanding the mental side of the game as well as he does.
Despite an INT on a great play by Houston's Safety to sky for the ball, Romo was good and had to be far more than a bus driver to win this game.
Murray again got yards when they needed them, but had another lost fumble and is going to get worn down at this pace. Randle came in and got a 1st down despite multiple defenders penetrating into the backfield. I'm not sure why he doesn't get just a few more carries. IIRC, Dunbar only lined up as a slot WR.
T. Williams had a big drop but also had a big catch. He does a lot of things well including run blocking.
There was multiple penalties against the Cowboys on returns.
Harris broke loose for a big return late in the game.
