Rams get #1 overall

The good news is we won't get saddled with Quincy carter I mean Carson wentz.

The bad news is we won't be getting drew Brees I mean Jared goff.

Who is 2017's top qb prospects? Our next qb is very important as my really giving a **** about the Cowboys heavily depends on if the next guy is as like able as romo

What I will find funny is when we have to replace Romo, some will not want to pay the price the Rams decided they had to. And it will come a lot sooner than Jerry Jones thinks.

Selecting Jalen Ramsey would be like urinating on top of the crap sandwich that was the 2015 season. I can't think of less of a pay off for a 4 win season.

don't worry RS.... Ramsey wont make it to us....you can pre-order your Bosa jersey though, cause i don't see anyway this team passes on him.

you mean the majority here.

Well, I was trying to be nice.

There is no slick way around it. You ultimately have to invest resources.

We may have been spoiled by our track record. We have never had to pay our dues playing the QB game.

yea...not gonna sugar coat it, but get ready for some soaked bread with your crap sandwich

The Rams trading up shows that this QB class is better than the posters here have said. Dallas could have secured the cure for a lot less. Get ready for 15 years of misery at the QB position. If will cost the future to trade up in the in the next few years. Let's see how much these non-QB picks are worth when Dallas stinks it up while trying to go cheap at the QB position .

I believed all along that these two QBs were going 1-2. It's just the nature of the business in the NFL. It's not really about being the top two prospects.

Maybe I don't know California. But I would assume Jared Goff is better suited to go play in LA rather than a kid from Fargo, North Dakota. These types of things are a part of the evaluations. Wentz seems like a perfect fit for Cleveland. Wentz is used to cold weather, big arm, smaller market like Fargo. It only makes sense.

Oh please. LA is about the least intimidating city there is. Sprawling and mostly suburban. This isn't like the movies where some slackjawed kid gets off the bus on the Sunset Strip and walks around with his mouth open amazed at all the sites he is seeing.

And good lord, you are arguing that he'd prefer to live and play in the cold. Yeah, everyone hates sunshine. Lots of guys play worse in the sun.

Jack's knee injury is not healing well. You can take him off the board .

Yea, word is that his knee is jacked up and that is why all the talk of him going in the top 5 has gone out the window.

Looks like our pick is either going to be Ramsey/Tunsil (whoever the Chargers pass on) or Bosa.

I honestly was not in the QB camp along with most people in here. I, for one, am happy that we won't grab such an unknown QB that is rated this high because there is no one better...I am more happy that it wasn't the eagles moving up (just in case these two are decent)

Been on the Ramsey train for a bit, although not entirely sold there...I can still see Elliott being taken by Dallas, but I would be happy with Ramsey

It funny how certain posters here thought Goff was not even worth a first RD pick but now the Rams are giving up a boat load of picks to get him,i guess they are wrong.

We'll be doing the same thing in a few years if we don't address the QB position.

QB driven league. Nothing matters more, proven year after year.

Funny, the only team that has traded up significantly in a draft in recent memory and traded a premium pick to draft a CB is named Jerry Jones.

I wonder why that is? Is he a trend setting trail blazer?

It's a "passing league". But yet, these GMs just keep resisting the desire to give up picks for players that "make impact" like that.

It would take a special breed of idiocy to follow that up with burning the 4th overall pick on another corner.

I sat through 4-12 for that?
