Rams get #1 overall

Jason la Canfora reporting that Rams are working hard to get back into the top 10.

Huh? What do they have left to trade except players? How about our #4 and T.Crawford for A. Donald and their 2017 2nd rd pick? I'd do that. But seriously, I can't see how this is feasible. Oh well...if you are flying into the side of the mountain, might as well go max thrust..

Hmmm, so if the Titans trade back up to #2, presumably for Tunsil (possibly Ramsey) then SD takes the other, Wentz could still be available at #4.

Yeah, I'll go out on a limb here and call horse****.

Why is it hard to believe that this could be true? There's 32 teams in the league and he said a number of teams which could mean like 5. He never said every team....

Then it's not newsworthy if a small percentage of teams think Wentz or Goff are better prospects than any QB prospect last year in the first round. Who would those teams be? Rams? Browns? Not entirely sure I take their scouting team seriously at that position.

I could see how Winston may have been a riskier pick for scouts due to the controversy surrounding him last year. I could even get on board with teams like Goff more than Mariota. But if I would rally like to see these teams who rank Wentz oh so highly, because something tells me it's teams we laugh at yearly during the draft.

And we would still pass on Wentz....why...because this guy is running the team

"I can give you a real scenario where it can be real problematic if we do what we want to do and that's have [Tony] Romo play fairly injury free and uninterrupted for the next three, four, five years. Let's just go three, four five. If he plays uninterrupted then you've got a problem if you've picked quarterback this year because you don't know what you got really at a time when he may be entering the markets."

From what the Media is reporting both Wentz and Goff are graded out on PAR with Bortles, Mariota and Winston.....QB needy teams will reach for a QB this year because 2017 is considered a bad QB Class....Teams want a QB this year due to talent drop off in 2017

Some media outlets are reporting Cook and Hackenberg are way above the 2017 QB class...takem while you can.....

Wentz could slide into the teens. The simply over-hyped QB rated out as a 2nd round pick at the end of his Collegiate Career. Dallas will pass on the whimsical QB choice @ # 4.

If Ramsey plays CB as a rookie does that mean he's forced to play there his entire career?

Weird how that didn't happen with Jones.

Magic?
Except Jones is playing Ramsey's best position. Jones didn't have a similar type blocking his path at FS. The situations aren't really the same. Especially considering draft position, which plays a big part IMO. There will be much more pressure on Ramsey to make a big impact. It's also IMO harder to justify taking a safety that high as opposed to a CB.

You are thinking clearly. Wentz has always been the bluff, no one really wants him all that much. Rams will take Goff, guaranteed. Unfortunately for us, Goff and Ramsey are going top three, with possibly Tunsil in between, and I think those are the two players we really liked. We may very well move out of that spot, maybe Elliot, possibly Bosa.
