I've seen just as many sources saying it's for Wentz. Theres also this.

Of course the rumors are the Eagles want Goff and the Browns want Wentz. Speculation is the Browns will bail if Wentz goes with the Eagles being the partner.

Either way, the QBs are going 1 and 2 and Dallas is left holding the bag because of two meaningless wins. But hey, at least the "real fans" are satisfied with the effects of those meaningless wins.

Yep. I was parading for us to lose out all season. When you're really bad you might as well be the worst. I don't see how you're not a "real fan" if you prefer to finish 2-14 than 3-13. Now, if we're in the playoffs, I don't hope to lose so we can draft #24 instead of #25. I want to win the whole thing. But when it's the difference between #1 and #4 when your QB is 36 and missed last season with multiple injuries...

That's right. Hey what happened the Luck/Griffin draft. Did Washington trade up to No 1 or No 2 - and did the team that was #1 that year say who they were picking before the draft ?

Just asking cause I cant remember.

I think it was pretty well known that the Colts would draft Luck. Luck was considered the consensus No. 1 overall pick. Only guys like Skip Bayless thought RGIII would be better.

But I can't recall if the Colts came out and announced they would pick Luck. I do remember similar rumors and unofficial reports that he was their guy, though.

I hate being in the middle in any sport. I want my team to either be really good, or really bad. Once it was apparent we were blowing any playoff hopes while Romo recovered, I wanted them to lose every game. We were also getting called out for it by a lot of posters and even a giant mod banner throwing it in our faces. Glad we won those historically significant games now though...

I'm not one to call out fanhood one way or another, but wanting your team to lose the game is pretty much the antithesis of what being a fan of a team means to me. Doing it just to have a better shot at a player who might be a bust, anyway? No, thanks. I'll just take my draft slot based off of how many games I can legitimately win and develop the best players available.

For all we know, Wentz could still be sitting there for us at 4, anyway. Or the team likes Lynch better than Wentz, anyway. Getting bent over not losing more games is bad 20/20 hindsight.

Sports are about acquiring talent.

I don't get why some fans can't get behind losing whenever all hope is lost anyways. Being the worst team in football has a reward that comes with it. Being 7-9 is about as bad as it gets.

There is no way someone gives up what they gave up and they don't know exactly who it is they want to draft. If both goff and wentz were that closely rated, they would wait til draft day to see what happens. They'd make their move after the first one was taken. That way, they would have to give up less.

Theres no argument that convinces me otherwise. Even the people who hate the idea of a QB can now see what position we would have been in. Either take the best QB, OR mimic the Titans and acquire a bevy of picks.

Remember that gem of a win in Stephen McGee's win over Philly the last game of the year a couple of years ago? Good stuff!

I call baloney on the Rams taking two weeks to decide. You don't mortgage the future without a clear choice in mind unless you are crazy. It doesn't help you now to say who you are taking so why not keep it cloudy as long as possible.

I'm sure they have a front runner but there is no reason to not keep doing their homework on both guys.

That's one person's opinion anyway.
