So if LA gets their wish and gets an NFL team again do you think it will be the Jags or Rams? If the Rams do you think they will change their name? I think the Jags have more of a chance, but who knows.

You might be too young to remember this but the Rams already moved from L.A.
Why would they leave St. Louis?
Why would anyone move to L.A. It is a LOUSY football city.
If Jacksonville wants to move, they should find a better city than L.A. - MAYBE Portland, Oregon or Oklahoma City
Almost anywhere but L.A.

csirl - NO team should go to Europe. There is a 6 hour time difference from here and a 9 hour difference from the West Coast.

Lonestar - NO - The Raiders began in Oakland - they never should have moved to L.A. - and they should stay in Oakland.

Jags. I have ever heard the Chargers may move. I don't think anyone will move for awhile though.

Florida doesn't need 3 pro teams.

So this year the Jags are playing their first of three games in London, talked about showing the red zone in their stadium during games, and had a television station say sorry for having to show one of their games instead of the Manning bowl. The other owners need to stage an intervention

I was thinking about this the other day.

I actually believe that the league has no real intention of moving a team to LA.

Why?

Because having an open market in LA allows owners to threaten their cities to move to LA if they don't get the money they need for a new stadium or a stadium renovations.

If you really think about it, there's no reason why the team shouldn't have had a team in LA by now. That's unless they want to use LA for bargaining power.

If any team goes back to LA its the Raiders. It's appropriate.

I think the Raiders should be allowed to have 4 games in Oakland and 4 games in LA each year. It will never happen, but I think that it would be the best move for the league, LA and the franchise.

That is not a bad idea, won't happen, but I like it. It is pretty sad that our nation's second largest city can't sustain an NFL team. LA really is a cool place and needs a team. I know, they have had their chances but the NBA and MLB do well, not sure why football is different there. Maybe there is too much activities and things to do in sunny LA on Sundays?

LA has already had three teams. The Chargers, Rams, and Raiders IMO they don't need another chance.
Jacksonville to San Antiono or London.

Having the Raiders and the Rams in LA was too much. And the Coliseum isn't a good place for football. But, I still don't believe the league really intends to move back to LA. When you have owners like Arthur Blank that want a new stadium when their stadium is only 20 years old...they don't have bargaining power unless they can threaten to move to a place that is viable. The league is really ruled by the owners, especially now that Goodell is nothing but a sock puppet. So the owners can get together and not move a team to LA because it is in their best interests. Some would call that collusion. And it's nothing new in the Goodell regime.

I dont understand the NFLs desire to expand to London, it just doesnt make any sense. How would you even schedule it? I understand that you want to expand your fan base but even taking out the logistical nightmare that it would be, Europe is way too in love with soccer for football to be anything but a passing fad.

Football has gotten a lot more popular over here during the last ten years. If they rebranded the team to the London Shaguars they might pick up a fan base. I just see them struggling to sell out a Jags v Titans game. They should put a team in Canada first.

A team in London would have an extreme home field advantage, even if it is the Jaguars, heh. That would be eight games where the opponent suffers jet lag and a large time difference which might even carry over to the next week in some cases.

Overall, a bad idea.

They don't need to expand to another country. They probably will though eventually because the powers that be love money above all.

Lets send the Commanders. They could be rebranded the London Redcoats.
No more skin issues and England still won't have a nfl team. Lol.

Yeah I knew Rams came from LA originally. I've just heard rumblings about them going back to LA. Wonder if they would stick with Rams for totally change. But I think Jags would be the first to go. No need for 3 Florida teams like someone said and they are having a hard time selling tickets to games.
