There are good former coaches who can't even get an interview. Brian Billick comes to mind. While Fisher stays employed the entire time. I believe he knew he could buy himself more time with the Rams by getting Goff and it worked. It also explains him not playing Goff until a few weeks ago. Now he got an extension out of it.
