We definitely need DBs, both Safeties and CBs, so it makes a lot of sense.

I don't much care if we go DB/DL or DL/DB the first two rounds, but this draft is deep in both, so it makes sense that we'd be interested in Ramsey/Bosa at that 4-spot.

Ramsey is a big cowboys fan as it is. He'll be ecstatic but not all of cowboys nation will be. I'll be happy w him or Elliot but we need dline help but people forget how good the defense in Seattle was. Their dline wasn't with stand out guys like Broncos. Secondary helped by covering their men. A lot of coverage sacks. I hope w scandrick Ramsey jones and MAYBE Claiborne can do decent it will help overall

I would love to get Lynch but I think there are some very good players who Dallas can choose from at #4, Ramsey being one of those guys. Like everyone here I have particular players I like but once the card is turned in my focus will turn to the player and the hope he can be a pro bowl player for the Cowboys. I think often people put their own wants before anything else and if their guy is not selected they throw fits here and slam the new addition to the team.

Don't we have him as the #1 rated player on our board anyway?

Draft boards aren't often finalized until the last week so I don't think anyone could say that in confidence. It wouldn't surprise me if he was up there.

I think it depends on where you intend to play him. If you play him at CB he will struggle at the next level. If you play him at safety, he's an all-pro caliber player for the next 10 years. I think he's that good.

Haha, so sources say Ramsey? Some say Lynch (Seriously, where the hell did this come from?) Some are saying Bosa since we have DE needs.

Wild assumption: Nobody knows a thing outside of the first two picks in this draft.

A lot of chatter about Zeke too. We wont know until we know. It really is that simple. Bosa i think may be out of the running though, I cant see the Cowboys making a pick at 4 on a guy with a history of drug use. Just cant see it.

I think and very much hope you are right. I do think we'll take him IF no one trades up with S.Diego to take him. IF they do, I hope to hell we take Tunsil, not Bosa and have the best Oline in the league. They should absolutely dominate if healthy. Tunsil rates so much higher than Bosa it's not even funny. In the end, I think S.Diego takes Tunsil and we take Ramsey. I don't think there's another team as dumb as Philly or the Rams to trade up with S.Diego but you never know. Tunsil is a stud and I would think someone could trade up for him, but I just don't see it.

If Ramsey is what he is purported to be, why are we worried that his best spot is safety?

Would we value Earl Thomas or Eric Berry at #4?

I would

Whether the source is real or not.

There have been a few players that have been linked to the Cowboys for a long time.

Ramsey has been one of those few players.

I don't think anyone would be shocked if they took him if he is sitting there at 4.

They might not like it or agree with it, but I don't think they would be shocked.

I don't think anybody would be shocked...but there's at least one guy who's gonna be pissed

Ramsey could help the Cap tremendously, leverage vs Carr, bring in Cromartie as well without Carrs' absorbent contract.

Eventually playing Byron Jones @ FS and Jalen Ramsey @ SS will be the only resolve. The ground they would cover is unprecedented , unfathomed and non-existent

I say play him at safety and get Desmond King at CB (seeing as where's he from probably could be had in round 2) next year. That will leave our secondary in really good shape for years to come. On the flip side get a DT on day 2 this year, and a DE in the first round next year (or maybe day 2 again).. and we will have a good all-round defense for years to come.

Ramsey has been my favorite for a while now, and with QB's going 1-2, that solidified it for me....I won't lose any sleep over it is SD takes him, because THEN it gets fun with the possible trade scenarios with Tunsil
