Someone on the Ranch Report (jetblue09) posted a report at 3:16 pm claiming that NFL Network talking about Barber and Flo and said they were close to singing and will have more to follow at 6 PM EST. Anybody hear anything since then?

I haven't heard this anywhere but keep me posted. We're having work done at my house so we're staying at my mother-in-laws and she doesn't have NFLnetwork. So I'm a little behind these last few days.

Hopefully they're signed quickly.

that place is a joke but nothing compares to the banning homer that rules ES. Take away Art though and its not close.

Art at least is entertaining though. His attempts at rationalizing all of Snyders moves is comedy gold.

They're probably just accepting the tenders... nothing more than that.

I'm not completely sure on RFA rules, but I think if they don't sign the tender, they can't negotiate with other teams.

I used to be hard on Art but he seems to have changed over the last year or so, he is actually calling out the FO on some decisions even though he does rationalize some other decisions but not near as frequently. He even unbanned me after seeing I had been banned unfairly

Not positive, but I believe teams can only alter/restructure contracts once per year per player. This is why you see players every now and then, such as Randy Moss with NE, not able to re-sign with their teams, since their prior contract was altered the last NFL year. Moss' contract was modified when he was traded, and thus it can't be changed until the next NFL calendar year begins.

I'm not 100% positive on this, though, I'm sure Adam knows a heckuva lot more.

No, signing their tenders would be the last thing they would do. That would be signing a 1 year contract and keep them from talking to any other team.

Yep, I had ERFA tenders and RFA tenders convoluted somehow. With ERFA, you have to sign to be considered in the league and with RFA you have the right to negotiate with other teams. I had just combined the two.
