He is absolutely right but its probably something that shouldn't be said until you prove you're capable of doing better. Randle had some long runs that I remember saying Murray couldn't make. I can't remember how many times I rewound a game because Murray would cut right when nothing was there and I thought I saw daylight to the left. Almost every time I was right. I'd guess Murray left 300-400 yards easy on the field. The question is how many did he gain that most backs would not have? It probably evened out.
That's a good point. They all leave yards on the table. The question is merely how it all comes out in the end, and clearly Murray had a wildly successful season.

Now, can anyone one of you wonder why the FO lacks trust in this fool. Look for someone else
to be the lead dog this year. Might be better to leave this package on the store shelf and keep
looking. Every time he leaves home or opens his mouth he looks like a complete idiot.

16 players in the 96 year history of the NFL have rushed for more yards in a single season than DeMarco Murray last season.

Think about that. And, then say that he left a lot of yards on the field. And, the other guys who ran for more didn't have some carries that could have resulted in more yards?

The degree that people are going to knock Murray is insane.

Murray left 8-10 tds out there. Including the back breaking fumble in GB.

Those holes were huge it wasn't Murray

Remember this odd decision?

Based on this, I can't really tell if he actually meant it how people are taking it. Maybe -- I just can't even tell what he means.

Clarence Hill quoting Randle makes it seem like he's [Randle] saying Murray left a lot of yards on the field. When reading the quote in the article, I could see Randle saying he could have been utilized more in the overall rushing game. I don't know, but I agree. It's pretty hard to understand.

For all we know, he could just be regurgitating what the coaches have been saying behind closed doors. I like the attitude though, not sure if it is his place to say it or not.

Not his place to say IMO, he's not proven and he just needs to keep it shut for now lol.

All I can do is laugh that he would come out and say this publicly on the first day of OTAs. At least wait until you've had a few successful games running the ball, Julius!!

Exactly, its unnecessary and not a great thing to say in the first place about an ex teamate - but for someone who has yet to prove themself its quite foolish.

And that is an overreaction on your part.

The only person that should be as upset as you is Murrays mom.

I think the notion of Murray "leaving meat on the bone" is wildly exaggerated. So what, was he going to rush for 2300 yards instead of 1800 yards and shattering the NFL record??? Not saying Murray does not have his faults and all, but come on. At the end of the day, he finished with 1850 yards at nearly 5 ypc.

Undeniably true, but he was still a tank last year.

We all were thinking it. We wanted him to say it. Good for him, he's showing a little much needed confidence.

Randle is right.

I dont understand why fans think a player should keep his mouth shut, but fans can voice whatever they want. And feel theyre right about it 100%. Hell Jerry Jones even said Randle would be getting 100 yrds game getting 20 carries a game. And it wasnt down talking Murray either, it was just knowing he has the best OL in football.
