This is why the team is looking at other RB's and will continue to do so.
That's a good point. They all leave yards on the table. The question is merely how it all comes out in the end, and clearly Murray had a wildly successful season. He is absolutely right but its probably something that shouldn't be said until you prove you're capable of doing better. Randle had some long runs that I remember saying Murray couldn't make. I can't remember how many times I rewound a game because Murray would cut right when nothing was there and I thought I saw daylight to the left. Almost every time I was right. I'd guess Murray left 300-400 yards easy on the field. The question is how many did he gain that most backs would not have? It probably evened out.
Murray left 8-10 tds out there. Including the back breaking fumble in GB.
Those holes were huge it wasn't Murray
Based on this, I can't really tell if he actually meant it how people are taking it. Maybe -- I just can't even tell what he means.
For all we know, he could just be regurgitating what the coaches have been saying behind closed doors. I like the attitude though, not sure if it is his place to say it or not.
All I can do is laugh that he would come out and say this publicly on the first day of OTAs. At least wait until you've had a few successful games running the ball, Julius!!

Now, can anyone one of you wonder why the FO lacks trust in this fool. Look for someone else
to be the lead dog this year. Might be better to leave this package on the store shelf and keep
looking. Every time he leaves home or opens his mouth he looks like a complete idiot.
Randle is right.
