Again, read the full context, i t doesnt read derogatory towards demarco. I think he just meant the running game could have overall done even better if needed.
Or he.s a jerk

Randle needs a lot more meat on his bones if he thinks he can replace the 350+ carries Murray gave the team.

There is no reason for any one of the backs to get that many carries. At least he won't be running into defenders instead of running through the holes on whatever carries he does get.

He probably has gotten tired of media guys coming to him asking him, if there is any way he can replace the mighty Murray... and finally he said he watched it all and there were a lot of yards left out there. He knows what they don't yet... Murray is replaceable.

It's easy to yell at the Bull from the window.

You people "love this" - Now, I'm not talking about the ACTUAL quote, the actual quote didn't read as bad as the headline of this thread. But you guys LOVE him criticizing Murray? A backup RB talking about an RB who broke records last year and came close to others, we are "loving" a backup RB saying something like that?

Obvious bias here. If Randle took a blatant shot at Murray, I'd call him a moron who still doesn't know how to quiet himself.

And yet, Murray still managed to get a ton of yards despite the great eye test from fans here and him "running into defenders often".

But hey, offseason is the time for optimism. Murray sucked, it was all on the offensive line; but it won't be the case for Randle, he's Barry Sanders 2.0

CZ if full of catchy phrases today.

How many yards did Dez leave on the field because he doesn't have top end speed?

It is a silly thing to say about Murray. He isn't Jamaal Charles or CJ2k but he got it done with a completely different skill set.
He is a true 4 down back and those guys are hard to find.

I personally want my best RB to be a work horse and not part of a commitee.

No, I said it during the season and it frustrated me then. This isn't something I've been saying since Murray went to Philly. Murray misses a lot of cut-backs and lanes and that's just a fact. He still had a great season... it just could have been even better. He was really tough and got some tough yards, and I appreciated that. He still left a lot of yards out there.

I didn't want Dallas to spend big money on him and I said it before free agency.

If it's true, then I'd chalk it up to bad coaching. should have been pounded in his head watching game film. Expect Chip Kelly to get the most out of Murray this year.

Poor vision is a more like it. Chip wont do any better then Garrett did. Murray was asked if he would change his running style after the costly fumble in Washington. He said "NO" so there you have it. Murray will be Murray

But you must realize how stupid you sound complaining about it after the fact right? It's so fraudulent. But this is a fraudulent fanbase so...

I'm not talking about pure speed, although Murray did indeed lack breakaway speed. Emmitt didn't have that either, and I never complained about it because Emmitt had what I'm saying Murray lacked.

What Emmitt did have that Murray didn't was terrific run instincts and vision. Emmitt got every single yard that he could. He found every crease and cut-back until there were none left.

With Murray, you could see a lot of runs that if he would have just cut back (or not cut back) he would have gone several yards further.

It isn't me hating on Murray and it isn't anything I didn't say in season last year. I liked what he did for Dallas... but with better vision and instincts, I think it would have been even better.

LOL, said the Philly fan in a Cowboys clothing.

You can look at your posting history and clearly see which team you're a fan of.

You're fooling no one.

When you're a known troll you shouldn't name call.

I said it in the middle of the season and anyone can go find it if they think I only started thinking that way since Murray went to that stinkhole of a franchise in Philly.

He's 100% correct. I'm glad someone finally said it.

I've been thinking that since about the 4th game last year. He missed cutbacks and open lanes regularly. I said it during the season last year too.

I was grateful for what Murray did for the team... but he undeniably left a lot of meat on the bone.

It doesn't matter if it's true or not. The point is that he shouldn't voice that opinion publicly. Other team members are going to look at that as a "I'm better than Murray" comment.

If it's a vision problem, that's a disconnect between the RB, OL, and Coach. I figure chip will design plays that are tailor made to get the most out of Murrays skill set. He's done it with every skill player he's had so far so I expect nothing less in this case.

16 players in the 96 year history of the NFL have rushed for more yards in a single season than DeMarco Murray last season.

Think about that. And, then say that he left a lot of yards on the field. And, the other guys who ran for more didn't have some carries that could have resulted in more yards?

The degree that people are going to knock Murray is insane.

This.

Better see 3000+ rushing yards this season the way some are talking.
