Since when did showing confidence mean you have to insult the other guy?

It's true, but Randle wins the bozo of the month award for saying it.

Yeah. It's true. But the problem with him saying it is like Hambrick.
Randle won't do squat now.

Doesn't have some bloomers to steal?

As much as we liked Murray we all thought it too. I cant count the times Murray ran out of bounds early or was caught earlier than he should have been.

Context, please. Don't just throw crap out like that.

His big plays came in two games: One against the freakin' Jags, and the other late against the Commanders when Murray helped wear them out and the game was almost over. Not impressive.

yeah, Its a snap shot of a stat...I wasn't claiming anything otherwise. Let me help ya..No harm in pointing out that Randle has averaged more yards per attempts made. As indicated by his 6.7ypc last year, yet limited carries. Everybody should know already, there's an obvious difference between "Starter v. Back-up". That said.. there's an obvious difference of being "given a chance". Randle has been nothing short of great when given a chance. Yet everybody seems so down on the guy. We know he screwed up his rookie season...half this team is filled with guys given a second chance.

::A stat is what ever you make of it.. I cant change that crap.

They seem so down on the guy because he hasn't shown enough to be a starter, but we have such a lack of talent at RB that he looks to be starter quality. That's how bad it has gotten.

But really, if you weren't trying to claim anything, it was pointless to bring up his long runs without the context.

Although I agree with Randle and I think the same way I believe Randle is a fool for bringing that up.

If he breaks Murray's record than ok he has a point. But at this time he is making himself look like a fool.

I'm not so sure... The smooth words... The subversive language... The calming of the nerves, yet with subliminal messaging...
I think you do, in fact HATE Murray! Oh yeah: I got you pegged now Asthma.

You're a Goodell plant and your looking to wreck this board from the inside out with mania, dissension and sedition.
I applaud you sir and ask if I can join in the inevitably oncoming anarchistic chaos?
Murray hater...

sure man... the more the merrier.

Part of me thinks he meant Murray has a lot left in the tank.

The other part, if meant what most of us think, is doggone correct.

If you look close you'll see I got Risen and Alexander in the crowd! Risen's the guy with the hat and the torch and Alex is the... other guy with the... hat and... torch.

You'll know when you see them. Two Deep said he's in there also, but he didn't say "Present" during roll call so I don't know...

Randle is an idiot. A certified idiot. He's proven that. This is shades of Hambrick dissing Emmitt.

Sigh.

This is why certain agencies still won't give me my passport after 13 years... I do this to myself.

I was never completely against letting Murray go, I understood why we let him go and accepted it. I became a little more skeptical when we didn't sign a better FA RB (Still unsure why we took McFadden before anyone else) and didn't draft an RB. And after seeing people post how matching Philly's offer wouldn't have put us into cap hell, I don't think it would have been a mistake matching it.

But it is what it is, we didn't want to give a 27 year old RB a relatively "big" contract. And I still understand that. But I don't think any RB on this roster will come in and do what Murray did better than he did, outside of maybe blocking. While Murray is no future HOF RB, you still don't find RBs like him in every draft or on the street. His combination of running and receiving was a great fit for this offense.

Fair enough... and I don't disagree with much of that except that I didn't want Dallas to match Philly's offer, but I can understand why someone would have wanted them to.

I think he's just repeating what the coaches are saying to him.

If anything it's a positive that he seems to have bought in
