I actually thought Randle showed me more in the Eagles game then any other game as far as making something out of nothing goes. He still goes down a lot easier than Murray and has no push.

Yeah. He's mostly a jerk to the media, which I kind of enjoy, honestly. Randle's got a smugness about him that I don't love. Whatever, it doesn't matter to me, really, if he gets the yardage that's blocked and hangs onto the football.

He had a good game. Still needs to be better. But he could have had about 80 plus yards and we could have probably leaned on the run a little bit more if our oline didn't have a flagathon. I remember a Randle run that was I think for 12 yards and a first down called back due to holding.

Only issue with our run game so far is our OL, I have not seen too many running lanes at all. Hopefully this improves shortly, although with Weeden u can be sure that opposing teams will be stacking the box big time...just need to see Weeden take advantage if that.

There have been 21 occasions from this season and the last combined where a RB has carried the ball 10 or more times in a game. Randle has done this three times, twice this season and once in the Colt game last season.

All three of his game average yards per carry are in the bottom eight of those 21 times. His best average so far is 4.08, less than the average for Murray's worst season.

McFadden is worst.

It's time to look at Christine Michael.

You CANNOT judge his yardage stats from these two games. We played from behind and we played the Eagles. Randles stats against the Eagles were as good as Murrays from last year. His yardage after initial contact was BETTER.

I agree, he looked like the best RB on field, for either team. But 2.8 ypc is 2.8 ypc. This OL is supposed to make RBs look like gods, but so far, very pedestrian.

So last year Murray's 3.0 against the Eagles meant that our OL was very pedestrian and failed to make Murray look good? Im confused.
