It's great Gregory is coming back but how much should be expected of him not playing football for a couple years.

Hes played more than Aldon and thats going ok, I'd say.

The defense has been awful BUT getting back Gregory, Brown, LVE and Chido should help quite a bit.

Since the division is so bad and we will likely still go to the playoffs, might as well try to sign or trade for a DT and/or safety and make the most of this season.

theres' no DT that's avaliable that is warranted traded for that would be a difference maker .who would give away such a
valuable player ?

and i don't wanna be trading for a rotation type .i'd much rather save those picks
to move up in the draft for a coveted player ..See what vet guy is on the street

This move might pop Griffen over to 3 tech for some snaps. If we are rolling out a rotation that includes Gregory, Smith, and Lawrence we are gonna wear out olines.

I’m not gonna get excited till I see something change in the field. I fall victim with this defense too many times thinking their going to be a force and then it’s the SOS.

if DLaw plays like he did last week all the time and Aldon play like he did against the Rams and Gregory contributes at a decent level then we might have something on the outside but our interior is still garbage

I always sympathized with Gregory. To me, his issues were different than just disregarding the rules. That said, I had all but given up on him. With the changes in the rules he may still make a career for himself. I hope so. For him and for us.

Curved enthusiasm about gregory as he has to get back to game shape and mode , conditioning and hit mode will play into
this ,,i would think coaches will place him in spots and packages and a limited amount starting out the first few games before adding more reps and play by play series, game by game .

i think he taps into Everson's snaps and most definitely Armstrong, .. i also wonder if we have to cut someone for Gregory to
return in games .... or is he already accounted or on the 53 roster ?
