Zoners, did I not hear that Randy Thomas had a torn triceps muscle last night? Sounds like another season-ender to their offensive line to join Jansen on the sideline decimating their right side. Should make beating the Deadskins easier, if Spears gets his a** in gear.

The 'skins have what looks like a very good defense....they all tackle well and hit hard starting with the LBs on into the DBs. They will not be a push over.

They will have trouble scoring points probably, due to their oline and QB.

He has a torn Tricep. I think it's the same injury that Ray Lewis has and he is playing with it, and I would think the LBer position would be harder to play with that injury.

Jason Ferguson has a torn Bicep and that's a whole different story.

I think that injury for a down lineman is much tougher to play with than a LB. I commend Ray Lewis for playing with it but down lineman can't play with 1 arm

It was reported during the game that it was a triceps injury, but in the press conference after the game, Gibbs said it was a biceps. Of course, Gibbs is a dirty rotten liar, so you can't really believe anything he says.

I think he's going to be gone for the season, and it's a big loss for that line... possibly even bigger than losing Jansen.

Keep in mind also that Samuels is playing on a gimpy knee that he hurt in the pre-season.

We can hate on them all we want but their defense is quite a bit better than ours is presently: it pains me to say it, but it's true. I'd give a body part to have Landry in our secondary. That being said, their offense sucks, BUT the playcalling is very good. They outschemed Philly last night I thought.

I have to agree to some extent. McFlab's inaccuracy really hurt Philly last night. They had opportunities.

If the triceps is torn from the bone he will be out for the season for sure. If that's not the case then he's looking at 1-4 weeks recovery depending on severity.

Washington continued to play well with Thomas out of the lineup, but having your O-line depth erased this early in the season is not a good sign.
