Disregarding importance of position so primarily by talent/production.

1. Sean Lee (This guy is everywhere, absolute stud)
2. Dez Bryant (He's only on track for 1,128 yards, yet no one is mentioning that because he has been producing despite double coverage, a minimal running game and subpar performance in the passing game outside of him)
3. DeMarcus Ware (I expect him to reclaim #1 by the end of the season)
4. Tony Romo (He's doing his best Peyton Manning-lite impression, is it strange that I miss his Favreisms?)
5. Tyron Smith (I was debating between Smith & Frederick. It's close but I have to give the edge to Smith. Who would've predicted we'd have the 7th best offensive line in the NFL*?)

Sean Lee has not been our top player this year, lol. Not even close.

He leads the defense, he makes plays when we need them. He has lagged behind in coverage a tad but his work ethic is unparalleled.

Week in and week out, Dez and Church have been the best players on each side of the field, so I put them 1 and 2 in that order.

3. Tyron
4. Lee
5. Hatcher..I contemplated putting Selvie here but Hatch has been a beast

1. Romo
2. Dez
3. Tyron
4. Hatcher
5. Church/Murray

Romo's on a 32 TD 4 INT 4,000-yard pace. Dez's targets are 4th-highest rated in the league. Free's been great with help, but Smith's on an island. When there's been a pass rush, Hatcher's has been the most consistent.

Still, none of these players has been as consistent as you would like. Romo needs to target Dez more, and Dez needs to avoid key drops. I'd be surprised if both those things didn't happen.

You guys are really under rating Carr. Yes the secondary has struggled but when was the last time you saw Carr getting burnt? The fact that there hasn't been a thread blasting him should tell you something lol. You rarely hear his namee during a broadcast (which for a CB is good)
1.Dez
2.Carr
3.Hatcher
4.T. Smith
5. Free
