Since there has been debate about who is at the #1 spot.

These are my opinions based on what I see off tape. These are my favorite QBs in the draft, v.1. These are the QBs that I feel have the best chance of being good NFL starters, based off biggest to smallest chance.

1 - Carson Wentz, North Dakota State

2 - Jared Goff, California

3 - Christian Hackenberg, Penn State

4 - Paxton Lynch, Memphis

5 - Connor Cook, Michigan State

I wouldn't draft Cook before the 4th round. I would spend a 1st on the Top 2.

Don't care much about any of these guys after the top 3, don't see them as nfl starters.

1) Geoff
2) Wentz
3) Lynch
4) Hackenburg
5) Brissett

Pick 1 & 2 are the most nfl ready and least risky. The other three have higher ceilings physically but all have their flaws. Lynch has played in a spread offense and this is his first year really shining, Hackenburg and Brissett are both intriguing but neither has had enough talent around them to make a good assessment. If I had any faith in our offensive coaching staff it might be worth the risk knowing they had at least two years to sit.

Hackenburg or Brissett for that gamble in the second or third rounds, Lynch in the first is too high of a risk.

Being in a unique situation like we are, top pick but drafting our future starter but don't need him to be ready day 1 gives us some flexibility in who we draft. Frankly, I don't think any of the QB's this year are day 1 NFL starters. I would not mind drafting Goff in the first, with our first pick. I think he will develop into a really good qb with a few years under Romo. None of the others are worth a high first round pick to me. If Goff is gone by the time we pick, move down and get one of the others, Lynch or Wentz in the late first or early second.

Not a fan of Cook or Hackenburg. Too inaccurate. Would not draft them.
