That'll end the season. The dropoff is simply too far from Sean to Jaylon for the defense to recover. Any hopes of leaning on the recently gelling defense in Zeke's absence are lost.

Let's hope for a miracle boys, but I fear it's over!

the defense can still be adequate simply by less Jaylon and more Durant. Like I said ADEQUATE. Jaylon's gap recognition is absolutely atrocious. I figured his football IQ would be better, but I was sorely mistaken. His health can improve in time, but I'm not sure his football acumen will ever be up to par. I would leave to be wrong on this! And the good news is I have a an impressive track record in inaccuracy!

This has less to do with Sean being a stud, and more to do with Jaylon being a horrible MLB. When Lee was out a couple of years ago and Ro came in this defense actually got better.

If we just had anyone that could play half way decent it wouldn't be so bad. If he starts Sunday night over Wilson or whomever it's going to be ugly folks.

Like I said in the game thread, tank the game on Sunday vs. Philly. Sit Tyron again too, play all the backups, let the Eagles have their fun for now. Focus on the Chargers game on the short week and hopefully one or both of them can be back for that.

I mean this can't be surprising to people.

Basically, the FO needs to pretend this offseason that they don't have a WILL or MIKE LB and take care of that in FA and the draft.

Then if you get anything out of Lee it's a nice surprise.

We need to move on from this guy. Too unreliable

He's the best linebacker in the NFL when healthy, and he's been healthy most of the past three years.

You don't move on from that.

The problem is the complete lack of depth at the linebacker position. Jaylon is a horror show, and after Hitchens........who? Wilson, Wilber, and Durant?

Reuben Foster was right there. But we took Taco Bueno.

I just find it unbelievable how one guy can have so much effect on the team. When he's in, we look like one of the better defenses in the league. When he goes out, the defense goes in the dumpster and looks like a bottom 5 defense.
