I think any team looking to sign Ratliff would give a lot of thought to his actions, plus wonder if he is really as healthy as he says he is.
i'm watching cowboys break and nick eatman was hinting that there are other things that ratliff did detrimental to the team that went down that haven't come out yet.
Another very suspicious thing was Ratliff's press statement after being released saying nice things about Jerry Jones, his teammates and Cowboy fans. I knew it was bogus from the beginning. But, it also seems to me that Ratliff is trying to be very nice to Jerry Jones so he doesn't get sued. Maybe Ratliff doesn't have much to stand on and is hoping not to go to court.
Perhaps, Ratliff will voluntarily return some money rather than go to court. Say for example, Ratliff and Jerry agree on the return of $7M. Both parties might come to an agreement. I think and hope this is the case. Makes sense for both parties. I doubt either party wants to go to court and air out all this.
mickey pretty much confirmed everything we believed today on talking cowboys.
1. jay never wanted to play for this organization again.
2. jay was trying to get the team to put him on IR so he didn't have to play yet still got paid.
3. cowboys were sick of ratliff and it shocked him when they cut him.
4. jerry is going to sue.
5. if they get the money back, they'd get the cap rebate next year.
This is surprising. They didn't really cop on to this sooner (Talking Cowboys). Huge bonus is they could get some cap back. Has that been done before?mickey pretty much confirmed everything we believed today on talking cowboys.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Cowboys get the league and Player's Union involved in this. Of course it all depends on what Ratliff said and did as much as which doctors said. This could get ugly.
I really want to know the story behind this. Where are the journalists?
yea, but without knowing the behind the scenes conversations, it's easy to dog on him and get upset. perhaps a little too easy. i'd love to give him the benefit of the doubt, but it's beyond obvious there were issues beyond a jones confrontation.
No way to know and we may never know the real truth.
@RapSheet: Ex-#Cowboys DT Jay Ratliff cleared by Dr. William Myers this morning to resume football activity, per email from his agent to NFL teams.
Jerry for all the hell I give him, is too damn nice sometimes. He was too nice when it came to the cap penalties and he was too nice when Ratliff physically confronted him. It's time to stop taking the high road Jerry.
I'm stealing that.YOU ARE RIGHT AS A FULLY LOADED LONE STAR CARD.
Jerra is too nice. It make me wonder how he got so rich being so nice. But maybe his niceness just extend to football players because he looks up to them, literally.
Who will pick him up? I only see two spots for him. Saints or New England and the reasons are obvious (Ryan and Belichick)
10 days ago the same agent was described Rat as a mutilated cripple. This screams, "Sue me!" for breach of contract.
The RAT is a MOUSE. What a pathetic...
