Successful screen passes, that don't look awkward. Use Dunbar like when Sproles was with the Saints.

It's funny.

On one hand I want to show nothing. On the other hand, I want to show a lot.

I would like to see our base formations and vanilla offense work the ball down the field because of stellar execution. All the stuff we have been working on with Dunbar, all the shifting and formations and wrinkles, I would love to leave those at home.

On defense, I just want to see some guys winning individual battles and making a few plays. I want to see Selvie at LDE, with Crawford and Melton inside and Mincey at RDE. I want to see McClain at MLB with Durant at WLB and whoever at the Sam.

The problem is gonna be at corner. No Claiborne most likely. So Scandrick will probably play with Moore as the other starting CB or Mitchell. Hoping we at least matchup personnel unlike a week ago. If they go three WR I want to see us in the nickel.

I'm actually the most interested in Kenneth Boatright. RDE is a huge problem, and Sully said that Boatright is "making plays" in camp, so I want to see what he can do. Selvie 2.0? If you watch his college tape, you can see he has potential.

Other than that, I want to see Rolando McClain. He could be the force in the middle our defense needs, if he wants to be. Does he want to be that guy? Let's hope he does.

And I want to see if Mitchell can continue to build on his impressive work in camp.

I had enough, which is my own opinion, of the past draft of 2009 vs whatever, living in the past crap. Enough DL / LB / Defense this and that talk. But I'm sure after saturday night, there will be an entirely new things to discuss on the same topics...LOL...but rightfully so, as after every game.

Anyway, there is a game Staurday night...what are you looking for and want to see.

Yes, starters and projected starters will yet again be missing.
Looking to see if the OL can look like they did against SD or better, and with Romo and his limited, scripted plays, Conservative plays I should say. I want to see how he moves in real time action.
I want to see Dunbar in this offense, and of course the young WR's.

On defense, just some consistency, even from the 3rd and 4th stringers, like the past week of practice shows they learned something. As they know more what to expect from actual game preparation, even though not game planned. I want to see a bit more of a pass rush, but it's not like they have to be world beaters. But just show something. I hope to see Wilcox get some extended playing time to see his progress.

Of course all this depends on who actually plays.

I want to see if Romo feels comfortable enough to throw a deep route. I also want to see if our 1st team defense looks any better.

progress, show some progress defensively.... my expectations for this defense this season are not very high, but I can go by the Cowboys plan, "hope" for the best.

Yes I would like to see that too. Thought about it, but wonder if they will even attempt it. I know Romo needs to take a hit at some point. But if the play takes longer to develop, would they risk it at this point.
But sure would like to see it.

I know, nobody suits up man. I've never seen a team miss so much practice as this version of the Cowboys. What is it? Culture?

I wouldn't doubt if it was shellshock from all the injuries the past few years.

I'd like to see some signs of progress from the young guys (Hitchens, Coleman, Bishop, Mitchell). Don't expect them to look great, just want to see if they show they've learned from last week.

Front 7 needs to make stopping the run their first, second and last priority. Focus on becoming above average on one thing at a time, starting with the run stopping. Can't run until you learn how to walk and this D is still in its infancy.

Lets start small and make realistic goals. How about...the defense not getting their faces bashed in by the Ravens offense and a few incompletions.

I think it’s more from a culture standpoint whereas there are no consequences for missing time. Somebody mentioned a few days ago that Bill Parcells would make it impossible for guys to fake injuries or miss practice with minor ailments. Remember the Julius Jones helmet tapping incident?

I want to see improvement. Yes we will make mistakes but that can be good. No matter how we look I want to see some progress. I want to see guys knowing their assignments, I will be looking at the younger guys and see who is wanting to make this roster and willing to step up and make plays.

Most of all let's get out this game healthy with no injuries. We have two more after this game to work on things

True.
I wasn't disputing you, to be sure.
Signs point to your correctness on this subject.

I merely offered an alternative take.

I think I agree with you more than I think otherwise.

I never want to see Romo take a hit, but it would be nice to see him take an NFL hit and get up from it. That would make me (and probably him) feel much better about his back.

d line stay at home - read and react-don't let up always work your man till the whistle

secondary needs to be good hold there ground jamming recievers on third down and no missed tackles

linbackers need most production because they imho have the most talent and can really become a good unit...bottom line get off blocks!!
