Ray has more intensity in his left big toe than Canty, Spears, Ellis, Bradie and #38 combined.
That's the problem. No one in Baltimore can question Ray cause he built that house. In Dallas, it's like trying to teach the blind to see.

Maybe .. Maybe not.

It only takes one guy to inspire men. Not saying it would happen, but strong personalities always prevail. Whether its good or deemed as 'cancerous'.

You cant have a team full of born leaders. There is too much conflict. But one guy CAN impact everyone in that lockeroom. One guy can inspire 10 others in the huddle. Thats a fact.

If you have ever been around a guy with those qualities on the field or in stressful enviorment that WANTS that responsibilty. Others will follow.

I'm mostly against it because of his age and the fact that you can't factor his leadership ability in this equation, because he wouldn't be a leader in his first year as a Cowboy; he would be the new guy again.

If we were at the edge of going to the Super Bowl and he was the missing link, then I'd consider it.

But we all know where this team stands...

We should bring him in as MLB and as LB Coach. If any player was made for a player/coach role in todays NFL, he might be one. And this way we overpay for multiple services, not just one service.

I really hope that Ray gets a chance to play with TO.......in Baltimore or Detroit, or New York but not in Dallas.

Here come's the spin from the anti-TO crowd... But, but, I thought Ray Lewis was a leader and understands what it takes to win...

It would be STUPID for us to pick up Lewis. Are our guys that Pathetic that out of 53 we have none that can be leaders? If that is the case then Ray Lewis will not help. Lets not pay millions of dollars for some guy to come in to "be a leader", this team is a joke, I am so sick of it.

Then read the rest of my post. If we can not get a leader to come up from with in this organization then bringing in a single hard working player and leader from the outside will have no influence, other than Ray possibly killing some of our guys for walking in late to a meeting. Ray is not the answer, he would actually just be a problem.

Quiet guys must me lead by the not so quiet. I dont think he would be a problem. It certainly couldnt hurt , although the effectiveness might not be worth the contract.

Guess we have to see:cool:

Will Jerry Jones pay Ray Lewis millions to be a impact player at inside linebacker or to do social work in the lockerroom, because he can't do both with this bunch.

If he's healthy, he'll be an impact player.

If he's acknowledged as a leader and motivator, he will have a positive effect on those who accept him.

If he's not accepted for whatever reason, his intangibles as a leader and motivator will be deemed worthless in the eyes of anyone who do not acknowledge him for those qualities.

Two out of three ain't bad, but it's not a slam dunk scenario either. The highest expectation anyone should want from having Lewis added to the roster is his impact on making this defense better. With this roster, anything else we can get out of him would be gravy.

It's funny that when questions about Romo's practice habits and such came up, nobody was talking about Terrell Owens and something we hear a lot of: that he's a hard worker. <sarcasm> IMO, having a hard worker on the team is a horrible thing...does nothing to help the team. </sarcasm>

One of the receivers who didn't finish plays in practice, according to Roy Williams11?

And Romo's practice habits were likely called into question by the TO crowd, if not TO himself.

That's why I want the guy gone. He's a politician in the locker room who wants your support, even if it means smearing the other side.

so.....

You are using TO as scapegoat to mask Romo's inefficiencies as a QB...

Very Original.

You have got to be kidding me.

You mean our lockerroom is messed up that we have to go out and try to "buy leadership" by giving a 34 yr old linebacker his last payday???

First Wade is back, then Garett strikes out getting a HC job, then Reeves quits after two days on the job because of some stipulation he cant agree to, now we have to go throw millions at a player looking for one last payday............

This is gettin worse by the day, it is starting to get comical now.
