I can understand Dallas not getting Felix on the field but the Raiders have no reason not to put him out there.

All that talent in Oakland is screwed.

I like them both alot. However-trading the house for McFadden would have been suicide, period.

I like the Felix pick alot, end of story.

I think Chappelle is gonna be a major asset for us.

His first carry that he took in for a TD upped is avg/carry.

But yes... this will be fun :D

Mcfadden is better than Felix, point blank. But i still dont see what all the fuss was about with Mcfadden. He's not some franchise changing back or anything but he's good. Not on AP's level. But, Felix is my boy now and he doesn't have to be better than Mcfadden.

BTW, McFadden got hurt last night. Hurt shoulder. I been saying for some time now that McFadden runs too high and will get hurt. Well, his first game, he got hurt. If he continues to run high, that slender body will not hold up.

Felix Jones is a perfect fit for the Cowboys and is a better pick over McFadden, Mendenhall and Ray Rice.

The only other back that would of been a good fit was Chris Johnson.

Yeah the big difference is that if we had McFadden instead of Felix then we wouldn't have had Jenkins and probably not Bennett either cause we'd have had to give up our other Number 1 and our Number 2 in order to move up that far to get McFadden.

I'm happy with Felix. Thanks.

:(. He was my number 1 pick but Felix will be just fine.

McFadden is a really good back. He runs high though. Also, he stops moving his leg after contact.

Funny that the #22 pick was what we got from Cleveland. I remember being really bummed last year when what I thought would be a top-10 or even top-5 pick ended up beyond 20.

Well...I'm happy now: Big thanks to the Cleveland Browns!

That '02 Raiders team was it. He gambled and pretty much gave every Pro Bowl FA vet a big contract. They came up short, was $40m OVER the salary cap, and never recovered from there.

Oh-getting rid of Gruden was also a huge mistake.

I'll take any weekly comparison... as long as it's NOT Jones vs. Mendenhall. :p:

Oakland and Dallas landed two pretty good backs from one college team during the same year. In the grand scheme, that's the only thing that really matters.

Pretty irrelevant thread. Put Felix Jones on the raiders roster and he doesn't look so hot either.

Put Darren McFadden on the cowboys roster and he's a superstar.

Unless the OP believes the raiders and cowboys rosters are equal in talent. :lmao2:

I thought Huggy Jr. looked better than McFadden last night. I think D-mac still needs his wheels greased before he gets used to the NFL.

D-Mac looked pretty good IMO. He didn't get as many carries as Huggy Bear Jr. But from the times he did carry the ball, you could see his amazing burst. He's gonna be the starter before the season is over (and Huggy Bear is pretty good too).
