The evidence was presented to a grand Jury who failed to indict, apparently they believed it didn't rise to abuse so why are these charges brought forth now.....might be more of a political charge!

Was there a previous grand jury presentation? Everything I see says this indictment came from a grand jury.


Edit: Just heard Adam Schefter say there was a previous grand jury that did not indict.

I think you mean if convicted. The facts are pretty well laid out. It wasn't someone else who beat the kid with a stick

When I was hearing it on sports center I wondered what the big deal was because I imagine a large number of us got whipped with a switch that left some red welts. However those pictures some days after the fact is not discipline, that is abuse.

The news just keeps coming and coming and coming and coming for king roger. This doesnt help Goodell at all. Wife beaters, Child abusers. And the angry mob already in a frenzy.

How does this hurt Goodell? So long as appropriate punishment is given by the league (and at this point I have no idea what is appropriate) I don't see why Goodell looks bad because some player abused his kid.
