I grew up with my grandparents and I got spanked with belts and switches and believe me, I deserved them all...Of course, I was older than the child in the pics and my grandmother never drew blood...I would have red marks on my calves and butt, but nothing like this...As was posted earlier, I got licks in elementary and high school from principals with paddles that had holes drilled in them...The high school principal called his the "Enforcer."

I think the rest of society has just had enough, most of these guys have gotten away with so much crap their whole life's and still think they're above the law. In the age of social media you aren't going to get away with anything without someone noticing. Peterson's a lowlife scumbag for this stunt but I lost any respect I had for him after the truth came out about the son he lost last yr.

Extreme circumstances under this new ban can get you a lifetime ban. If he's found guilty he'll never play again in the NFL.

Red marks on the butt after a spanking is not abnormal or excessive, ... these type of welts a week after the punishment is WAAAY eccessive and it is abuse.

I heard he has a punishment room, with many belts. And that he stuffed leaves in his mouth so he couldn't scream. If any of that is true, .. this is assault if you ask me.

Getting the privilege to play pro sports should be like belonging to an elite club, any kind of mistake such as this or Ray Rice's, or drugs, or anything, .. would mean an immediate ban from the club.

Only the morally elite would be eligible to play in the elite club. It would straighten these punks out real quick or they would be working for someone roofing houses or flipping burgers.

I don't have children but I have nothing against spanking. I don't remember ever being spanked either. Far from a perfect child but my parents usually could just raise their voices & I got the message.


I did not hear about Barkley. He's an Auburn guy..they're wacky!
