MINNEAPOLIS (AP) -- After a day of public pressure from angry fans and concerned sponsors, the Minnesota Vikings have reversed course and placed star running back Adrian Peterson on the exempt-commissioner's permission list, a move that will require him to stay away from the team while he addresses child abuse charges in Texas

I have to live with the fact that when I disciplined my son the way I was disciplined as a child, I caused an injury that I never intended or thought would happen. I know that many people disagree with the way I disciplined my child. I also understand after meeting with a psychologist that there are other alternative ways of disciplining a child that may be more appropriate.

What the hell does this mean? You disciplined your child like you were disciplined, while admitting you never obtained injuries like that would happen... That would mean you weren't disciplined in the same way. You simply used a 'switch' like your parents did. Nobody is bothered about disciplining the child, it's the way you did it and the force you did it that's the issue.

Reggie Bush takes up for AP. Saying he whips his one year old daughter, .. he may be investigated by Child Services.

Then back tracks on his statements, and says this:
“Obviously, I’m not going to be spanking a 1-year old girl, but we do discipline her a bit,” Bush said. “There’s this thing where, if she doesn’t like something or you say something to her that she doesn’t like, she will take a little swing at you. We’re already starting to implement little things such as talking to her and saying ‘that’s not OK,’ and stuff like that. I think people took it too far and thought that I said I was doing much worse. That’s not the case.”

Where does a one year old learn to take a swing at someone?
