Cowboys free-agent RB Felix Jones worked out today for the Philadelphia Eagles, per league source.


Watch him go there and dominate. Seems appropriate.

Felix never really seemed to give a rip. Great guy, but it's like gameday was a after-school function that he wasn't that excited about.

I think it was the exact opposite. Felix seemed way to happy to just be in the NFL and have the star on his helmet. It is something the Cowboys totally missed. He NEVER has been the bell cow for a team...so we misjudged what being a 1st round pick would mean to him. It did not register with him that as a 1st round pick....especially at RB...the EXPECTATIONS are high. So it is not enough to be in awe of being a NFL player. You have to produce! But he never carried a team on any level...so he was happy to blend in. Again, Jamal Charles, Chris Johnson, Ray Rice...all of these cats were drafted AFTER Felix!!!!!!!!!!!:bang2:

Thats what I was thinking.
I was at his rookie Training Camp and he was the most explosive hit the corner RB I had ever seen. I was having visions of TD scoring TD's from my youth.

Nah... Didn't happen for Emmitt. Didn't happen for Julius Jones. Didn't happen for Tashard Choice, either.

I think we're in the clear. When we let go of a running back, they've probably been done for a year or two already.
