Cowboys free-agent RB Felix Jones worked out today for the Philadelphia Eagles, per league source.

Watch him go there and dominate. Seems appropriate.

:suxiggle:

Yea, I am sure he will be dominating cheese steaks.

He'll go to the Eagles, McCoy will get hurt and we will be next in line to play the eagles. The Eagles will use Felix the way we should have and Felix carves us up. Thats just our luck.......

This isn't out of reach.

We always misuse all our skill players since JG has been the OC here.

If we lose Felix, our ratio is 5 lost and 2 gained. Do at least get a look for compensation?

Yep, that is how we should have used him... Would have at least done some good for the team.

I think it was the exact opposite. Felix seemed way to happy to just be in the NFL and have the star on his helmet. It is something the Cowboys totally missed. He NEVER has been the bell cow for a team...so we misjudged what being a 1st round pick would mean to him. It did not register with him that as a 1st round pick....especially at RB...the EXPECTATIONS are high. So it is not enough to be in awe of being a NFL player. You have to produce! But he never carried a team on any level...so he was happy to blend in. Again, Jamal Charles, Chris Johnson, Ray Rice...all of these cats were drafted AFTER Felix!!!!!!!!!!!:bang2:

Don't forget Matt Forte

And him even averaging 3.6 yards a carry he still has a higher YAC than all of those guys except Jamaal Charles. There was nothing misjudged on Felix's part. The only thing misjudged was this offensive line.

lol...so let me get this right. You are saying that Felix is better than Charles, Johnson, Rice, and Forte, the only difference is he never had a line to rush behind and they did? Felix was a HORRIBLE draft pick considering we could have had Johnson, Forte, Rice, or Charles. Heck, he was just a horrible draft pick anyway.

Career attempts + YPC

Johnson 1463 rushing attempts 4.7ypc
Forte 1262 rushing attempts 4.2ypc
Rice 1216 rushing attempts 4.5ypc
Charles 784 rushing attempts 5.8ypc
Felix 569 rushing attempts 4.8ypc

I wish Felix starts every game for the Eagles, all you have to do is "two hand touch" him and he's on the ground.

IF I was a betting man, I would probably bet Felix's YAC are probably a grand total of 32 during his Cowboy days.

Hopefully he will drop a weight on a key eagles player, would be his biggest contribution in years.
He would have to be in the weight room for that to happen. The best he can do is drop a donut on someone.
