Anyone even considering Trent Richardson... lmao.

McFadden could be the type of signing that would have a LOT of people eating crow, here. ONLY if his health/durability checked out. Behind this line he could be a renewed dominant player.

Ryan Williams still on the roster.

Deep draft at RB. Don't need a top 2 or 3 guy even. It could be worth it, especially if the position is essentially untapped when we get on the clock in round 1. But don't forget- Demarco Murray was a 3rd round pick.

None of those guys compare to what we had in Murray. We need to go get an RB in the draft or sign AD. I don't get what's so special about Ryan Williams. What has he done that merits him getting the praise as if he's the solution?

it's been widely reported that Williams rejected at least 10 offers to sign on with other teams rosters and he declined. He likely didn't see the roster for fear of making an already suspect ST unit worse. Randle and Dunbar were on most teams and we had Mmurray carrying the ball 500 times.

Wasn't McFadden in the same draft that produced Felix Jones and Adrian Peterson? Already thirty and and with not much to show for his career... ? Sounds like a recipe for moving backwards to me. On to the draft!

So what you are saying is he is worse than Randle and Dunbar, but he is going to replace Murray....

It's is because we are grasping at straws, trying to soften the blow from losing such an integral piece of this team. Plus some here swear that every person we have on the roster is the best at there position until they leave and he gets HE SUCKS, HE ISNT WORTH THE MONEY!!!

Sounds like a recipe for little-to-lose, possible much-to-gain, considering.

AP drafted 2007. The other two- 2008

You had me until you said DeMarco was a 3rd rd pick. Where was Brady, Driver, D. Clark, T. Davis, etc drafted? Players do develop.................

But, I do agree with the premise.....no need to worry about who will be the main back.

Larry Allen was a 3rd round pick so he sucked

the only knock on ryan is his pass blocking...he's about as a pure running back you can get...vision,speed,cutback ability and every thing else.

we just signed a true road grader and pass blocker fullback like moose to take care of that need.

He supposedly got offers from other teams, so he couldn't have been that hurt.

agreed, but he was rehabilitating and other teams were contacting him
so the team give him some cash to stay put and he agreed
his got skills, I am not completely comfortable with his history but
I assume we'll go after a RB in the draft to combine with Williams
