That's what good football is supposed to look like.

What a pleasure it was to watch actual defense being actually played by actual Dallas Cowboys defensive players. I don't know if the tide has turned, or if this will be short-lived, but what a breath of fresh air that was to witness.

The offense wasn't perfect, but it didn't have to be. The track meet we expected, which is what we usually see on Sundays at home, didn't materialize. It would have been really, really bad if it did.

I feared a second-half repeat of the Rams and Packers games. Especially after that botched play to end the half, then the subsequent opening TD drive of the third quarter, I thought we were in for another defensive collapse when a stop would be nothing short of miraculous.

But when you size it up, the Chiefs only scored 10 legitimate points yesterday. That is THE victory of the season so far against a good offense that has and does the kind of things that typically gives Dallas fits.

Sean Lee is a mastermind, and Anthony Hitchens is his perfect side kick. Lee cleaned up everything, and shifted the defense perfectly for every attempt by Kareem Hunt. That rookie couldn't get any momentum whatsoever headed to the line as the defensive line crashed the blocking schems, and the LBs cleaned up dang near everything. Damien Wilson was good, too.

The pass rush was beautiful to watch. There was a particular pressure by Lawrence that saved a touchdown as Kelce was running free with nobody around him. Alex Smith simply couldn't get it there. The pass rush effectively negated Tyreek Hill because there was just no time to get him downfield.

This the Dallas Cowboys I'm talking about. This is twilight zone stuff.

The only uh-ohs of yesterday (I as there so perhaps there is news that I didn't get that you did) was the injuries to Dez, Williams, Price, and thought I haven't seen anything, Tyron Smith. Why was Chaz in for him in the fourth quarter? And of course, now we go back to the Zeke waiting game today.

Linehan was brilliant in a game that required adjustment. The Kansas City defense played well above their pedigree.

Marinelli is back to his storied brilliant self, getting the most out of guys. Andy Reid's playcalling genius was well absorbed by the Cowboys.

The only Cowboys buffoonery came from its bumbling owner. Close the damn curtain, Jerry. It's embarrassing.

Anytime you beat an Andy Reid team with all his chips in place, is a good win. God I don't wanna look past the Falcon but the game against the Eagles in two weeks seems like two freight trains. The D is truly a beauty to watch.........

unfortunately for me I've never been to the stadium but is that true? There are curtains already in place that simply could be lowered and resolve this issue but they choose not to?

I don’t know if it’s accurrate, but I heard the plan was for development to take place and for the buildings to provide shade. Obviously that hasn’t happened if true.

The defense impressed me yesterday. I honestly was shocked that our base D held them to 10 points. That was quite an accomplishment. A Brown and Lewis were never mentioned in the game on a pass reception in my recollection.

Too bad most of you never saw the big picture early on in the season with this team going forward expecially the Defense. Am I surprised with the whipping they gave the Chiefs yesterday? Hell no. Like I said this team will be better than 2016 and will go further in the playoffs.

Well, we dropped three passes because of it yesterday, so that's not the kind of advantage I think we want. Kansas City wasn't affected.

I go to every game, and I've really only seen it negatively affect the Cowboys.

I think the key to us being great is DLaw consistently getting by his guy. It allows us to focus on the run game force the QB to make quick decisions. That's why pass rushers are so important and if Taco turns out (I think we're seeing his athletic potential more and more each week from the almost pick to the sack yesterday) to be another baller I think we're really on to something.
