Last night was just the same story line with a different lead actor. Poor safety play, blown 4th quarter lead, big pass plays given up by Carr, flashes from DMac to make us think he's an adequate RB, etc.

I have no faith in this GM or coaching staff, nor do I believe we can draft worth a damn to rebuild this team which tempers any enthusiasm at having a high draft pick.

I thought the D looked like they did when we played Washington, flying around the ball. Still can'tfigure out why we didn't blitz Rogers however.

Btw Gregory is going to be good, and Dlaw is becoming a man!

Right?

Since when did everyone become so ok with being mediocre. Heads should roll, particularly the ginger. 1 winning season in 6 years.

Actually this is his first losing season...8-8 is not considered a losing season. To some not winning either. But according to ESPN & NFLN, they said it was his first losing season...so you going to argue with them...

Once again team played hard...but also once again same old failures.
Offense fails to get TD's, and settles for FG's or turns the ball over.

Defense can't get sacks at key times or turnovers, and give up the long plays to lose games at the end.

Fans will lay their usual blame on their usual whipping boys rather deserved or not. Some will blame coaching, play calling, Garrett, a certain player, Jerry...I blame the entire team.
They just do not make the plays. blame anyone, usual Garrett, it is ultimately on him to have the team ready. I think they were last night. They weren't against GB.

But the players need to execute. They don't. I still say they need to replace some coaches like Henderson is the first to go. Then Dooley, Brown, Wilson.

Glad they pulled the hook on Cassel. Offense looked almost competent with Moore at times. Somehow its still the same result....

This is the only good thing I can say about last nights game.

A bad team blowing a game for the umpteenth time this season.

Not proud or impressed.

Agree that we have regressed as a team, but do like how it's now easier to focus on who is worth building upon, and who needs to be released. To me thats the W out of all the L's...

8-8 sure as hell doesn't count as a winning season either. Especially when you have a franchise QB for the duration of your tenure. [clap]

The only other guy that can under perform and keep getting paid like this is Jeff Fisher.

Got to work their way up I guess.....Jerry being so bold and all...or is that OLD...:muttley:

Jerry has to face reality. I have. I like Garrett and really thot he might be the guy to get it done, but I dont see it happening. Garrett does a lot of really good things, but at some point you have to look at the bottom line. There have been a lot of really good coaches in the NFL that brought a lot to the table, but never got it done. Thats Garrett as well.

You think a guy with five 100+ Yd games in just over half a season as the starter is NOT adequate?????

So why do assistant coaches get held accountable for the players but not the HC? We keep changing the assistants but Garrett is the problem. A real HC brought in could choose their own staff. We need that.

Because what player has these coaches helped. They have not produced any players nor helped the ones we have be better than they are. They have not developed any players.
Yes, that is on Garrett...so he needs to replace them...
Jason can't coach every player individually, that is why they have other coaches.

A CEO of the company doesn't have time to operate the machine making the parts...same goes into coaching. he can oversee it, but can't do it all. If it's not working, then replace that component.
If still not working after those changes, then the CEO needs to replace the upper management. In this case, Jerry replacing Jason. We know that won't happen for a few more years.

People say get better talent, well, then get better assistant coaches too. How many times has this defense failed at the end of games, how many long pass plays lost games at the end. That to me is on the secondary coaches. WR's not running to the first down marker coming up a yard short. Our RB situation, but yet only DMC running better, because of his talent. nothing that Ray Brown coached him to do.
Wilson, why hasn't he helped Weeden or Cassel to be better in this system.

So that is on Garrett, and he needs to replace them. If then it does not work, with a healthy Romo, then Jerry needs to look at Garrett. Which I am sure he is, but now is not the time.

Wilcox and Jones with the embarrassingly huge non coverage of a WR with 50 secs left in the game?

CLAP CLAP
CLAP

That was mostly Jones. Why he was peeking into the backfield like that I have no idea. Wilcox was being, well, Wilcox.

6 carries for 16 yards, 10 for 31, 5 for 16, 20 for 64, 17 for 32, 10 for 11, 14 for 53.....No, I don't think it's adequate. I don't just look at yesterday but how well he ran when the season was still on the line. Consistency and tough yards is what we need from the RB and we can most certainly upgrade at that position.
