If you want to watch the games and be mad because the team is not very good then go for it. I personally think anger is self defeating without a productive outlet but hey to each their own.

I love people trying to pull the team psychology stuff when we're not actually on the team. That attitude is great when youre actually on the team and you need to hold yourselves accountable. That's not what's going on here.

rebel without a cause is the cheapest schtick on the interwebs.

Right?

Since when did everyone become so ok with being mediocre. Heads should roll, particularly the ginger. 1 winning season in 6 years.

Well we've discussed why our players suck pretty extensively at this point. We've done a good job evaluating as a board I think where the positions have underperformed and where we need help. We've done similarly with the entire coaching staff and most of the front office. Scouts and McClay seem to get a pass but they aren't an easy target either. There is another forum packed with subtopics on most of the main negative themes on this board too.

You do need to evaluate from the standpoint of what went right too though. Otherwise just seems like self loathing to me. if you're going to act like your on the team and try to hold others to that standard then try to do what's best for the team.

6 carries for 16 yards, 10 for 31, 5 for 16, 20 for 64, 17 for 32, 10 for 11, 14 for 53.....No, I don't think it's adequate. I don't just look at yesterday but how well he ran when the season was still on the line. Consistency and tough yards is what we need from the RB and we can most certainly upgrade at that position.

Tough to run when teams have zero fear of your qb and wr's.

McFadden isn't a superstar, but he's definitely a solid rotational back.

A bad team blowing a game for the umpteenth time this season.

Not proud or impressed.

I was stating a true fact that this team came out fighting before and after Cassel was benched ...how old are you?

How long you been a Cowboy's fan?

You and all the haters on here would not be impressed if we won the Superbowl.

There are much deeper issues within yourselves you need to deal with .

So your fanhood is better than ours? Not liking the results of a game is not the same as being a "hater". No one wants to be a loser but that's what this team is.

You damn right my fanhood is better than the haters on here.

I've been a loyal fan since 1975.

I've stuck with this team through thick and thin...this forum is full of ff football players and trolls.

Agree , we have lost any semblance of home field advantage.... Teams probably feel like it's a mini vacation. See Jerry World and come into our home with a higher probability of a W. Gone are the days of Texas Stadium mystique

It isnt about the stadium it is about the coach getting the players to win home games out of pride or whatever reason, winning teams usually
do well at home, and it is about the HC.
To wade and JG a home game is just another game like all the rest.

Valiant effort indeed.

Kellen looks like an adequate backup for sure.

I enjoyed the game, cowboys played one of their better games against a good team.
I liked that JG put kellen in and thought he did good for his first game.

We're trying!

Go Cowboys!

And that sums it up..... the last two decades. That sums up the whole attitude; its disgusting. Now, we have fans, (i am guessing younger fans who just dont know what winning is, or beaten down fans, who can blame them?) excited over a "good effort".......

The op is not young, The team looked better than in previous games, and some fans are diehard fans, nothing wrong with that.
The cowboys are also entertainment and a product, The names of players draw fans in like romo witten and dez, and big plays
exciting games are entertainment.
Some fans or really many are satisfied with the entertainment and product, and others want championship teams.

Jerry is good at first 2 but not so good with the championships.

Yeah, I get alot of entertainment out of it. Whether we win lose or draw...

But its more just like breathing for me. Its what I do. Been doing it since age 10. I follow, root, cheer, criticize, etc etc .....The Dallas Cowboys....

I want championships..... This was once a proud franchise. A winning franchise. Now its a punchline. A joke. Its been too long....and what scares me more then anything, is that I dont see it changing. Money is flowing, they have no real incentive to change. And they need to change. Jones family needs to hire gm/coach and get out of the way. No guarantees that will work, but we know what doesn't work....thats for sure.

No more excuses. No more passes, no more "next year".

Well I am similar, but you said it, .....that I dont see it changing. Money is flowing, they have no real incentive to change.
This team is a toy for jones, they all are toys for the owners, and jerry likes playing GM, and being spokesman, making draft picks
etc.
He would rather have fun doing all that than hire a gm and the team wins a SB.
Plus if he did it now it would make him look bad for all these years he couldnt get a winner.

It is not going to change, instead of building , the jones do a yearly "fix" for a SB run that year.
The only time they did not do a fix was prior to 2014 lol.

Last year I developed hope again, and then when demarco left I knew that was down the drain.
Barring injuries they might make playoffs next year , but they wont ever be as good as the 2014 team,
and surely not good enough to beat the top teams in playoffs. Seattle, Arizona,Carolina, and GB, and now Minnesota is
coming on, and TB may do something.
