Murray after fumble did his thing again

Romo after interception did awesome

Harris after fumble...had key plays including the ever important return..

Dan the man did not let his miss distract him from nailing the winner
Williams after the td drops ...really made an awesome catch on the play of the year..

Bryant had a few drops and made up for it big time on the second best play of the year..

I agree, These are the games we used to lose the last couple years. This year there just seems to be this mentality that has been missing for a long time. We came back against the rams, we kept fighting today. I don't know, maybe it's me but the body language and the whole feel of the team is different this year. When a mistake is made we seem to recover emotionally this year as opposed to last couple years once a mistake is made the team kind of closed up and played not to lose. The Romo to Bryant OT catch epitomizes what I mean.

there is a definite different feel of this team this year..

i will honestly say that this is the first game in quite some time that my heart was racing before dan tried the 53 yarder in regulation.

i'm 47 now and have had anxiety issues in the past and still to this day sometimes.

i don't like my heart to beat fast.

my sitting around the house pulse rate is 58-60 bpm which is very good for my age...i think.

but watching this game i believe it went 100 or so..

i did not want us to lose this game...my boss is a texan fan and there are several other texan fans where i work. i live in southeast texas.

i work with more cowboy fans than texan fans mind you...but cowboy fans are cool...texan fans are just stupid and obnoxious.

does anyone else's pulse rate go up like that watching the cowboys?

i even started drinking after tony's interception...and i normally don't start drinking till 5 or so..

i hate noon games.

Romo had a real brain fart in the second half there, especially in the 4th quarter. He nearly cost us the game.

Garrett also almost cost us the game too. He has to have the worst clock/game management I've ever seen in a coach. Never knows when to use timeouts.

I thought I was gonna have a heart attack a few times during this game. I never get fully emotionally into noon games. It's just too damm early, and I usually have a bit of a hangover from the night before. lol. But today was different. It was special, whether I was sailing or sinking. By half time I was pacing the floor, yelling at the tv, feeling sea sick from the roller coaster ride our Boyz put us on!

But the fire and the passion and the sheer WILL that this team has found this year so far, the drive and determination to persevere and push on like soldiers to the enemy's fortress, it is magical to watch! They really have stepped up to the plate. It has been a real joy to watch them play thus far this season. We feel the fire because They feel the fire!

I really hope we have a whole season of heartstopping games full of fire and drive and grit and magic. And wins! I hope our hearts are up to the task. lol

I know my bp goes up and my heart rate goes up during crisis mode plays.
I'm waiting for us have to kick a 65 yard field goal to win,and Dan Bailey puts it through, will probably blow a blood vessel.

I am a staunch Romo supporter and derided a roomful of Romo-hating Cowboys fans after Tony ducked Watt to launch that 60-yarder to Williams, taking the lead. But I couldn't defend his late game meltdown as, on their last regulation possession with the lead, Tony committed two serious blunders allowing the Texans a short-field opportunity to tie the game: he mismanaged the play clock resulting in a delay of game - and threw the ball to an empty area of the field while between the tackles.

I think Tony is among the NFLs' elite play-creating QBs - but these are mistakes you expect from a young 'un... not a seasoned vet. It's very disappointing.

They all acquitted themselves nicely. Proud moments. I look forward to many more proud moments as we hit the meat of the schedule and start to make ourselves recognized in the divisional column.

I totally agree with the OP. I'm glad that this team fought back.Yes they made their mistakes but they all redeemed themselves.

One thing though, if we would have lost this game I'd blame it on Romo for having such a crappy last possession. That delay of game is un-excusable. Then he throw an intentional grounding. Maybe Linehan can have a talk with him personally about that. I nearly cost us the game.

Lastly, this and the Ram's game are two games which they fought back against adversity to win. They would have easily folded in our previous years. However, I think the team is responding to the challenge and actually learning how to win. 4-1 is a big accomplishment with this team.

We won a game we were supposed to win, which is a sentence we couldn't type about the last 5 years of Cowboys Football.

Heck, I say practice a fumble play and the first play run it every game. Pitch to Demarco, fumble, Romo picks it up and hit Bryant for an 80 yard TD.

We get the fumble out of the way and turn a negative into a positive.

Inexcusable is right. That cannot happen and it was very disappointing. The whole series from the play call to the execution needs to be addressed this week. But to the Cowboys credit they engineered two clutch drives, one on the missed FG and the other on the game winner. One last thing --

"Romo hating Cowboy fans" -- LOL ask them who they got instead and tell them to wash the paint off their faces -- it's always "those guys."

Then invite them in here.
