AWAY

New York Giants
Philadelphia Eagles
Washington Commanders
Green Bay Packers
Minnesota Vikings
Arizona Cardinals
Houston Texans
Indianapolis Colts

HOME

New York Giants
Philadelphia Eagles
Washington Commanders
Chicago Bears
Detroit Lions
New Orleans Saints
Jacksonville Jaguars
Tennessee Titans

I'm a little P'oed here and have a question. HTH do we get stuck playing the 1st and 2nd place teams in the NFC North and the ACF South on the road!

I know there's a formula to this but I thought when you were playing anentire division, it was 1st and 3rd home or away, 2nd and 4th home or away.

Now I know over time the structure and formulas have changed. But I can't ever remember playing both the 1st and 2nd place teams from another division both on the road or home.

If I'm wrong please correct me...........FTW HAPPENED!

What realy sucks is the drop-off in talent from Min/GB to Chi/Det! Talk about sticking it in sideways!

Look at it this way the other teams in the east will also have to play them so the key to 2010 is win our division and you do that by beating the teams within the division.

Cardinals will be without Warner, most likely.
Green Bay will be tough, sure.
Minnesota will be without Favruh.
Colts aren't as good as they've been in years past. A lot of close games, a lot of 4th quarter come backs.
Houston is like a home game. No worries there.

Warner I think you are right he will hang them up Brett I think will return next season.

Houston game I think that will be a tough fight that stadium will be rocking and no it will not be like a home game. People of Houston will buy those tickets up quickly and their hate of the Cowboys is great. That team will be highly motivated to win that game.

I haven't check, but I'm sure Phila and NYG don't play all four of those teams on the road!

the last time we played the AFC south (2006), we had Indy and Houston at home and Tennessee and Jax on the road.

Rotation...nothing to do with seeding

I think both will retire. Brett, after he loses on Sunday. Warner will announce his retirement soon as well.

What I meant by my statement was that its just not very far to travel at all. It'll be in a dome, so weather is no issue. And I think they're will be a lot of Cowboys fans as well.

When I read your post, I was like "Awww, thanks!"

But then I seen the rolling eyes smiley, and my heart hurt a little.

Well look at it this way: except for the Saints the home schedule is relatively easy.

Clean up at home and go .500 on the road and your OK. That's what the Vikings did this year.

Favre will retire... then un-retire again.

I don't care. The one game I consider a sure-fire win next year is at the Scuzzballdome. Just like we went from 44-6 to 3-0 we'll have a bit turn around for the horn blowers.

The schedule does look like a beast but in this league things flip quickly.

As mentioned above we have to go out and win the NFCE for the 3rd time in 4 years.

OK, so this is just some really bad luck on our part. Guess the last time we played the whole NFC North, we drew the Lions and Bears on the road.
That does ring a bell, I believe we did play GB and Min in Dallas in 2007.

I just have the feeling Brett likes it in Minn and will return we will see

Houston yes it is not far, it is a retractable roof so weather will not be a factor and yes there will be some Cowboy fans but Houston will be sky high for the Cowboys. Houston has lived in the Cowboys shadows and there is a real hate of the Cowboys by many in Houston and that team will look at this as more than just a reg game as they always do when they get the chance to play Dallas. I have lived in this city for 41 years that week leading up to that game will be very intense here in Houston.

Our poor luck is their benefit for sure. If you were a Philly fan, would change one fricken game there!

It is what it is. If you expect to be a championship team you don't worry how the schedule plays out you just play it.

Again.....you never know before the season gets under way HOW TOUGH the schedule is...or isn't.

Have we not seen teams that are 3-13 go to 13-3 the next year and vice-versa?

Too many people get caught up in the schedule as soon as it comes out.

I'm looking at 16-0...just like every year. The players do to.....nobody can tell me that they go into each week with an "L" on their mind. They go into each week thinking "W". You do that each week, guess what....you are thinking 16-0. But they'll never admit it.
