1964..............I was 4.5 years old.

I was 11 when Dallas lost to the Colts in SB-V, and clearly remember when Dallas was the "Team that couldn't win the big one"! That's right; before Minnesota and Buffalo and even Denver, DALLAS had that label and scarlet letter.

We all know what's happened since, but that was a little tough for a kid in Pennsylvania at the time. When Dallas beat Miami in SB-VI (24-3, to THIS DAY the only time a team didn't score a TD in a SB), it was like Christmas Day for me.

And the beat goes on........................

I'm a lifer. Been a Cowboys fan since 1981. I think my Dad put a Cowboys one-sie on me before the doctors gave me to my Mom. He was born in '55 in Ft. Worth, so he's been a fan since they existed. I remember my Dad asking me who was my favorite player, and I would say, "Too Tall, Too Tall". Probably because it was the easiest name to say. When people ask me who my favorite team is, I always say, "Well, my Dad raised me to be a man, so that makes me a Cowboys fan." The Dallas Cowboys is something that him and I will always have, and I am forever grateful for it. I just hope that one day I will have a son to share the love of the Dallas Cowboys with.

That's funny. That was favorite as a 3 year old as well... I'd say, "too tall" or "manster". maybe they just sounded like cool names to a little runt?

For me it was 1989, and was a combination of things. First of all I've always had a thing for the underdog so when I asked my dad who the worst team in the NFL was so I could root for them. He followed this up with talking about how much he disliked them further cementing my love.

The biggest reason though was my new best friend at the time comes from a long line of Cowboys fans and he got me hooked on the sport talking about Bullet Bob and Roger the Dodger.

A few years back I got us tickets to see the cowboys on thanksgiving day as a birthday present to him...unfortunatly it was the Quincy Carter debacle against the Dolphins.

Since the beginning. I was 15 years old at the time and when I heard Dallas was getting a team I knew that I would be their fan for life. I was born in Texas and although I was living in California at the time I really had not adopted another team to root for.
