I would love for the Eagles to beat the Giants just so we can secure the division and HFA. But I just can't see Carson Wentz leading his team to victory over them. We will see though.

I want them in the playoffs. Not sure which scenario would allow that but there's just no way they beat us a third time. No freaking way.

I
I'll TAKE that scenerio anyday of the week... Dallas vs Seattle NFC Championship game @ AT&T for all the marbles!

We would play the Lions/Giants winner, unless the Commanders beat Atlanta, then we'd play them. Having the road go through Dallas though will be nice. Just need one more win or one Giants loss.

If the season ended today... I'll take Falcons over Skins and Detroit over NYG in Wildcard round.

Divisional round:
Cowboys vs Lions
Seattle vs ATL

Lost to the Giants by a total of 4 points and both games we beat ourselves. I like our chances in a 3rd meeting.

No way. I hope the Giants lose every game. Can't stand those clowns. Don't want them entering the playoffs on a long winning streak.

I'd rather play the Giants than a team that can put up 35 points with a balanced offense like the Commanders and Falcons. Plus it's hard to beat a team 3 times in 1 year.

I remember the stat being 12-7 in favor of the team that swept the other team at least in 2007. Maybe the stat is different now but I'm pretty sure the team that's swept the other team in the division has a higher probability of winning the third game.

Then NY will need to still possibly go into Seattle or Atlanta even. As long as they are on the road.

I believe that NY is also on the road weeks 16 and 17. Being on the road in the 1st round of the playoffs does not bode well for them. A little while back I saw a stat regarding the success of teams when playing 3 consecutive road games. They almost always lose the 3rd game.

I may be wrong, but if the Giants have the best wild card record, if they get past the first round, wouldn't they have to go to Seattle? Dallas would have to play the weaker team record since they are the NFC best.
We're either going to play Atl, Ny or GB... I would like them in that particular order. Atl is very mediocre on the road

I don't really care who we play in the playoffs. Anybody we play is going to be tough. Otherwise they wouldn't be in the playoffs. I just want the Cowboys to beat the Lions this coming week so we can secure HFA.

I would like to see the Giants lose at the Eagles. But not counting on it. I don't think the Eagles can do it.

But...........we'll see.

no, it still goes by seed, so unless the 6th seed wins, it likely means NYG @ Dallas...assuming they win in round 1

Or with a Giants loss to the Eagles Thursday. I don't think it's a given the Giants beat the Eagles in Philly. Eagles win, and we're No. 1 seed and the Lions and Eagles games become meaningless for us in terms of playoff seeding.

With what's at stake, I wonder how many Eagles fans will ACTUALLY root for the Eagles on Thursday night?

This is one of those wanting the team to tank for higher draft position kinda questions isn't it?
