i want to know why you are or why you became a cowboys fan.. i know for most of all its because we grew up watching them and because we are from dallas but wat bout the fans that are not from here...? i wanna here from everybody..

Grew up in Dallas, and my Dad started watching them when they became a franchise and I remember watching/cheering for them since '72.

Grew up in North Texas .....followed the Dallas Texans of the American Football League and was very excited when the news broke that a NFL Team would be in Dallas. Been a fan from the beginning 1960..

that's what inspired me too, until I found this forum, so now the only chicks I get to look at are BrainPaint in his cheerleaders outfit, while nice, it just doesn't do it for me

Grew up in East Texas just watching random football but not following a specific team, just players. In junior high/highschool Dallas and Houston started getting good in '91 or so. So just watched out of curiosity hoping Texas would represent. Then just started following the Cowboys and have been a diehard ever since. I didn't have family or friends who were into football so never grew up around true "fanism" so just kinda fell into it being from Texas.

My Uncle was Charlie Waters roommate at Clemson. Met him a few times at my Grandparents house. All my family were huge fans and I've been one since the mid 70's.

I'm a Cowboys fan cuz I was born to it. It has always been in my blood. I was born in Dallas and raised in Irving. To have been anything but a Cowboys fan in my family would have been a sin.

No the real story is...

Boring Thanksgivings growing up as a kid at the Aunt's house... I put on the boob tube and there it was... (the power of)THE STAR.... I was drawn to it.... after Thanksgivings... I would always look for them when they were on TV

Grew up a Deion Sanders fan, didn't like teams-in whole-until he became a Cowboys, so I became a Dallas fan. Also Dat Nguyen was the staple of why I'd be a Dallas fan until the end.
