I became a Cowboys fan because of Roger Staubach. I thought he was greatest QB ever and he was/is very humble and classy person.
That was a big reason for me also, Roger Staubach and Tom Landry were my idols when I was a kid growing up. I do not think you can get better role models than them two.

Why am I a Cowboys fan?

Because being a fan of any other team is unexceptable.

Super Bowl XII was the first NFL game I'd ever watched...and it was love at first sight! I sometimes ask myself if Denver had won would I be a Broncos' fan....NAHHH, the allure of the Star was too powerful! Doomsday II, The Dodger, Tony D, Butch Johnson and his "California Quake", FB pass from Newhouse to Richards, Drew...Dallas just had too much STAR power (pun intended) for me to resist! So hear I stand, 30 years later, a true-blue (albeit misplaced) 'Boys fan residing in the heart of Deadskin country...and loving it!

Been a Cowboy fans since 65 and never had a reason to cheer for anyone else. My dad was the main reason as he started watching them from day 1.

Embarrasingly, it was the cheerleaders right around puberty, maybe 8 to 9 years old...Found out there was a football team associated with them...eventually

Born is Wash. D.C. my dad, originally from Georgia, was a skins season ticket holder and a big skins fan. At around age 5 I fell in love with the enemy Cowboys not out of rebellion or spite, but because of their swagger and players like Tony Dorsett. I missed the Staubach era and my first real memory was crying after "The Catch." The metalic silver and blue, Tony Dorsett instantly became my favorite and "coolest" football player, the swagger, the aura of the team, other players like Butch Johnson, "Thrill" Hill, Ron Springs, Robert Newhouse, Michael Downs, Dennis Thurman, Drew Pearson, Danny White, "Too Tall," and on and on.. it's been die hard eversince 80/81

Grew up in California and I hated the Niners, but I am to intelligent to be a Raider Fan so about the age of 13 I remember watching this fun player play for the University of Miami, I was and still am a huge Nebraska Cornhusker fan, but this wide receiver number 47 at the time would just kill us, him and his coach. So when the play maker and JJ went to the cowboys I started rooting for them and I fell in love with the star.

First I love God
Second The Cowboys
Third My Girl
Fourth My Parents

First and Second may change if we win the Super bowl this year:lmao2:

Born and raised in Northern Viriginia, Commanders counrty. First time I ever watched football was the Cowboys on Thanksgiving when I was 5 years old. From that day I knew I would be a Cowboys fan my entire life. Everything about the team, from the jersey, the players, the absolute hatred from those who aren't Cowboy's fans and most importantly the class of the organization and their fans which is above any in sports. You all have helped me realize what it means to be a fan! THank you and How bout them Cowboys!!!! 12-1 baby!
