Goose:

• I think Bledsoe needs to stay on the field at least a month or month in a half. Romo played against a bunch of vanilla schemes and young players. If they go to Romo, there is no turning back.
• I would say on a scale, Bledsoe is an average NFL QB. He needs to look a t a player like Brad Johnson who doesn't turn the ball over. If Bledsoe can learn not to turn the ball over and control the game, the Cowboys can be a playoff contender. The more he throws, the further Dallas gets from the postseason.
• Jacksonville is one of the better teams Dallas will play this year. I'm not sure they have the weapons to go out and win consistently on the road in the AFC, but they are one of the better teams. They can win 11 games.
• New England didn't look good. I thought if they could keep Bellicek, Brady and Viniateri together they could be a SB contender. THey are built to win close games and they let they player go that won those games for them. They can't keep losing 2-3 players every year and win. They can only go as far as Brady's arm can take them, and he doesn't have any weapons with the trade of Branch.
• I expect Green to come back. He doesn't have a history of concussions, but then again, there is only so much punishment a 30+ something body can take.
• The Raiders are bad. I guess a 4-0 preseason doesn't mean anything. They have to change QB's this week. It's hard to believe that's the Raiders. There is plenty of mumbling in that locker room. This team could even get worse. To get blown out at home like that doesn't show alot of promise. It's hard to believe Oakland and Green Bay can look so bad.
• Favre shouldn't have come back. If you are thinking retirement, then you are already 80% gone. GB needs to see what they have in Aaron Rogers but the fans and Favre would likely not stand for him being benched. If a team wants him this season it will probably cause them to cut 3-4 players to absorb the contract. GB signed Robinson, and we are waiting to see if he is suspended. This is a very deserate team. The QB has more power than the coach. This is a 3-13, 4-12 team. It is a crime to keep Favre on the field in that case.
• I don't know what exactly is going on with Vandy. I think Parcells is making an example of him. He's never had the discipline-tpe coach that Parcells is. In talking to some Colts, they said he may be done psychologically. He isn't big on offseason workouts and he is 36. He may be done.
• I went to the new Arizona staudium this weekend. It is one of the best in the league. The stands are right on top of the field and the real grass field is rolled out for the game. It is the only real grass field in a dome.
