Karsch and Anderson on 97.1 The Ticket in Detroit are talking Lions and opening up the phone lines.

Not sure who is who, so I used Host1/Host2:

Host1: Got trucked and what bothered me most was the defense

Host2: What bothered me most was that as a fan, I now it is over

Host1: People were calling in for weeks saying Lions wont win again and I wanted to apologize for calling you idiots because I was wrong and you are geniuses

Host1: Lions Hope that GB will not be playing their starters. Got the Bolts, nope, Dallas at home, please

Caller: Cant beat Arizona and were struggling, then I knew they were not going to win again. Beat NY, but look at who else beat NY. Can't see how a team can be so consistently bad for so long

Host1: Schedule got alot more difficult

Host2: Nope, has nothing to do with Schedule, they are just bad

Host2: When they were 6-2, we were saying they were tight wins and could be worse

Host2: Got Chicago, Tampa, some other teams at the right time because they were banged up.

Host1: They have a shot to win 2 more games possibly

Caller: Special Teams coach is putrid. Somebody gets to the 50 or runs for a TD on Special Teams. You cannot win games running 2 or 3 times, Martz is too smart to not know that so he must be doing it on purpose

Host1: Stan Qualm the ST Coach (mispell) has done some innovative things but it is about results. Cason is not the answer even though he had a return recently. The entire team has problems

Host1: When they deactivate the FB, that means they gave up on the Run game. They were going to have to score 1 million points against Minny cause they can't stop anybody

Interesting that they did that. Wonder if that's a week to week thing.

Appreciate the recaps.

Not sure about week to week, but the Hosts made it seem like they do it quite frequently.

I had no idea Martz was still running the ball so few times in a game.

I'm not buying it. We've always had trouble in Detroit.

Lions will come to fight.

Unfortunately, we have the freakin' Giants game at the same time slot in NY. Frak that.

True.

Over the last 6 Seaons, we are 3-3 against the Lines. Heck, they were even tied for the worst record in the NFL when they beat us last year.

However, this is a much different Cowboys team.

Personally, I expect this game to be over in the 3rd Quarter, or at least it should be.

This is their Super Bowl. If talent is a factor, we will win. Don't eat the cheese, Cowboys. Where is BP when we need him?:)

Poor lions are having all kinds of issues.

How much longer can Matt Millen keep that position?

Visions of Erik Hipple still dance in my head.

I have a bad feeling about this game.
