MG: colt brennan?

MK: Brought to light some of the negatives. He is not physically imposing, only 6-2. The entire team was outmanned and the QB takes the blame alot. Alot of side arm deliveries all over the place. You didn't see it when he didn't have pressure. He is going to get pushed down, I was thinking 2nd Round, he could be in the 5th - 6th QB overall and it probably hurt him 1 round.

SS: June Jones endorses him and I put alot of stock in what he says

MK: When you draft a 3rd Round QB you think that he can be a franchise QB. I don't think he goes in the 2nd anymore.

MG: If USC vs OSU in the BCSC?

MK: There is only 1 player in Georgia that would start at USC and that is the kicker. OSU has better talent than Georgia. Some of OSU's talent is better than USC. I would pick USC, when their best players are healthy they are strong. If they had more consistency at WR they would be awesome.

MG: Wash/Seattle?

MK: Weather is probably going to be factor because it may rain. Commanders and Seattle are experienced in that. I give Skins a chance (Note:couldn't remember who he picked)

MG: Jags/Pitt?

MK: Jags a better team but Pittsburgh is going to be sitting around hearing how Jags are a better team so emotion will come into it but Jags will win.

MG: Giants/Tampa?

MK: Toughest game to evaluate. Giants are banged up. Tampa has been resting and waiting. I am going to go with Tampa. Can they turn it on quickly for the Playoffs. Giants are confident because they went toe to toe with NE. I will go with Tampa

SS: Is Tampa Bay good enough to turn it on in the Playoffs.

MG: Tenn/SD?

MK: Titans passing game is a concern. Weather is going to be a factor here. Could help Tenn. running game. You gotta take San Diego. Probably win by double digits.

MG: OSU/LSU?

MK: OSU, I hate a 51 day layoff. Hopefully Tressell learns from last year. I love the talent at OSU, and some of their players have to play well because they can be 1st round picks. I like OSU's talent. I think OSU will make amends for the Florida game last year and the Illinois game.

MG: Reporting that Rain is expected in Seattle and San Diego

Thanks for the recap Mick, it still amazes me how some of you guys do this so quick. Or did you find this online and just copy it over?

I'm a bit curious about this Colt Brennan quote. It sounds like Kiper was saying that if Colt goes in the third, that whatever team is drafting him would be expecting him or any other 3rd round QB to take over the reigns and be the franchise QB. For anybody else that heard that, is that the same impression you guys came away with?

Go Bucks! Though I admit I seriously believe that LSU has the same ability to blow up OSU that Florida had last year. How much the transition from Pellini leaving will have on LSU is something that remains to be seen. I'm hoping its a destraction that they can't get past. I was also hoping Michigan would keep after Miles and that would help out. But just like you have been able to count on OSU beating Michigan, you can count on the wolverines to mess that hope up and go and hire Rodriguez. ;)

No, I write it down as he speaks.

Mel Kiper was asked if he thought Colt Brennan hurt his draft stock by the way he played.

Mel Kiper stated that he thought Colt Brennan was probably a 2nd Round pick but after the Bowl Performance, he probably is a 3rd Round pick and probably the 6th or 7th QB taken overall in the draft. As far as the 3rd Round QB being a Franchise QB, I think he was trying to basically it wasn't just a horrible situation for Colt Brennan to drop to the 3rd Round because he felt teams will not waste a 3rd Round pick on a QB unless they think he can be the Franchise Guy.

It a lot of ways it is better for a guy so he can sit and train 1-3 years before he is forced into action which helps his development with out the instant gratification society striking rookies who are 1st round picks.

In fact i think the rookie scale has helped lottery picks in basketball because a lot of them are given time to develop now since the salaries do not break a team if they fail in the 1st 3 years. I wish football would go to this model for football which would end them getting more money than they deserve and it would take pressure of them having to start day 1 and be a bust if they do not and it would allow teams to pay vets and keep vets around that contribute and that the young guys can learn from

Yeah, and only reason they might not blow up Buckeyes is that they read too much Press Clippings and act like Florida.

That must hurt that Buckeyes never beat an SEC team. And top of that, Hated Wolverines beat their tormentors last year, like a rented mule :D

Oh yeah, just take the beating from Les Miles like men :D Because it is coming. And I am dissappointed that Les isn't coming to Michigan. Because it will take Rich couple years to get his players. ALthough I hear he is already going to steal players from Ohio

Hopefully it won't be like the Fiesta Bowl with WV when their OC was leaving for the Team up North but stayed for that game and you saw what happened.

I have NEVER in my life pulled for Michigan in a game that didn't do anything to help out Ohio St...but I just couldn't help myself this time.

I took a Very Hot shower immediately after.:D

Go Bucks!

Don't worry, last year, was the first time I pulled for Buckeyes too :D, when they played the Gators. I just don't like Urban Meyer. Heck I don't like any coach who campaigns for his team to go to BCS bowl or championship game.

Just like the reason I don't like Stoops and loved the fact that Oklahoma got beat like another rented mule too ;)

Michigan and Ohio St fans pulling for each other?

Human sacrifice, dogs and cats living together - mass hysteria.
