I'm watching Super Bowl 7 on NFL Network. There is a scroll at the bottom of the screen listing various Super Bowl records. Dallas holds the record for appearances with 8, but did you guys know that the 49ers hold the record for wins with 5. Little known fact.

Also, Art Monk played for the Commanders from 1990 to 1993 according to the scroll.

It is fascinating to watch the game though. Is anyone watching?

We also have 5 wins, so the 49ers own a piece of the record.

I certainly hope so. Would hate to think a Cowboy fan wouldn't know that "little known fact".

A little sarcasm guys. I wonder why the NFL Network forgot about the Cowboys and Steelers?

There were other errors as well. Green played for the Commanders from 1993 until 2002 according to the scroll.

Seriously they should invest in some quality commentators (a new play by play guy would be a nice start) and shore up their crack research dept.

Yep got me until I read Reality's reply.:laugh1:

Even recently, the Miami players show a lot of aminosity toward Garo Yepremian. Not for the silly throw, but the nose dive he took when trying to tackle Bass.
