I did a search and only found Hoofbite who mentioned this app briefly in another thread. But I must say, I think this app deserves its own thread.
I've had an iphone for about 2-3 years, and I've never actually paid for an app, but I paid for this one.
Basically, you download the app, and your phone becomes a bar code scanner. So lets say you're in a store, and you see a product you like. You click the app, put the phone up to the barcode, and the phone does the rest. It immedietely scours the web for the best price on that product.
After that, you can choose whether to buy the product in the store, or click the link and buy it online. Its that easy. It even gives you a "local" option, meaning, the same product within the geographical area you are in, so that if you're in Best buy, the app will tell you that Circuit City has the same product at such and such price which is 3.5 miles away.
Google came out with this for the google phone a while back, and I have eagerly anticipated a similar app for the iphone. And I found it last night.
Try it, you will not be dissapointed.
PS.....Blockbuster came out with thier app yesterday too, it is pretty good, you can manage your queue, check real time inventory in your local stores, and some other cool stuff. This is a free app too.
