Listening to Zorn's press conference today, safety Chris Horton will definitely miss their game against us, as will starting :laugh2: offensive lineman Mike Williams. Turnstile tackle Stephan Heyer will move back to right tackle now, and Levi Brown, who was signed off the street, will be starting at left tackle.

Looks like they'll move Laron Landry to strong safety, I guess because he can't cover... unfortunately for them, he can't tackle either.

Portis will almost certainly miss this weeks game against the Broncos with a concussion, but it wouldn't be surprising if he missed our game as well. His backup, Betts, has a bum ankle, but will likely start in his place. I really don't know what they have for depth behind Betts.

Campbell was knocked around pretty bad this week, and has a low ankle sprain, but will likely keep toughing it out out there behind the NFL's worst line.

The punter has been hurt as well, but looks like he'll try to play again this week.

Cooley is improving, but there's no way he plays against us.

This team is a walking MASH unit and it won't be getting any better by the time they play us in a couple of weeks.

I can not wait to see the look on snyder's face when he rolls in here and he has to run that team out there in our stadium.

Snyder is going to have to sit their for 5 hours hearing about and looking around in the biggest stadium in the world while his team is out there hopefully getting killed.

I can not wait to get to the stadium and take pictures of snyder on the field........He will be ready to fire everyone by the time they leave Dallas.

Finally someone else realizes what I've been saying - Jason Campbell is not a horrible quarterback; that offensive line is easily the most offensive line in the NFL right now, though. Maybe Oakland or Green Bay is worse.

I've been saying Campbell isn't that bad for a while.

what happened to Chris Horton?

He has some kind of foot or toe injury that will likely require surgery and put him out for 4-6 months.

Sounds like they're going to wait a couple weeks to see if it heals without surgery but there's no way he plays for at least a month. But that this point, they're holding so many roster spots open waiting for guys like Cooley and Hunter Smith to heal, they'll need to start moving guys to IR to make room on the roster.

This is really relative. What do mean by "horrible" or "isn't that bad"?

Jason Campbell isn't a good QB, and I really don't think from what I've seen that he's a starting-caliber QB. He lacks confidence and decision making in the pocket. His delivery is way too long. He does have a good completion percentage, but he can't seem to throw the ball deep.

His problems are exacerbated by the horrible line, but he's no great QB in his own right. That said, he certainly isn't the Skins worst problem.

How is JC not that bad? I've been watching this guy every week for years now (***). He can't read defenses and he isn't the most accurate QB. Skin fans have been calling for his head for years and they aren't in hurry to resign him.

It just so happens their whole team sucks this year, even their coach. Their D got significantly worse.... I also lol'd when Landry tried to tackle Turner by rolling like a freakin lincoln log into his legs.

The Skins ALWAYS play us tough. I don't care about what they look like against other teams. We better bring our at least B+ game or we will lose.

Don't sell him short. Jason Campbell is a below average NFL QB. His game is so similar to Quincy Carter it's scary. Fairly mobile QB with an average arm and next to no accuracy.

You're right, Campbell isn't horrible - he's terrible.

Throw records and junk out the window. These guys always play us tough. I simply won't pencil these in as for sure wins simply cause of their injuries.

Honestly -- I hope we lose both to the Cowboys. I hope they don't win another game.

It's a small price to pay to get rid of that useless ******* Vinny Cerrato

I really think you guys use this Vinny thing as a crutch. We would both agree that had Vinny worked for another NFL team, he would have been fired years ago right?

Now look at how many coaches Dan has hired and fired.

Yet Vinny never goes anywhere???

What does this tell you? It should tell you that Vinny is only a figurehead. A "yes" man.

Danny is making every move in that organization and always has. He's not much different in those terms as Jerry, however, Jerry puts himself out there, and is quite upfront about him being the GM, and the final say. Snyder hides behind Vinny, and rarely faces any music on his decisions.

Yet the skins fans want to blame Vinny? You got to be kidding me.

Remember the 1-15 Cowboys? Who did their victory come against? Dallas. Even though Dallas was so bad, they beat the Skins. The Skins will play tough. It is their "superbowl." It is the only thing to save their season, saying they beat Dallas.

Don't take this game for granted.

And worry about injuries. Remember Brady vs. the Chiefs last year? The Pats could have beaten the Chiefs even without Brady, yet the Chiefs ruined the Pats' season.

I'm hoping the Skins win two or three games in the second half of the season (not against us, of course:) )

If they win a few in the second half, that might keep Snyder from firing Vinny and blowing it up. I'm really enjoying the path the Commanders are on right now far too much to see it end.

Yep, Vinny is the sympton and Snyder is the disease.
