Reeves must go

Well, the defense needs to improve at the #3 spot. I'm still a little suspect of getting rid of Reeves completely as injuries may happen, but they need to get better at the #3 spot. Reeves was pretty serviceable all year long, but the problem is that he's always the main target. Of course Henry was the main target of opposing teams in the past 2 seasons, but he has the threat of picking off passes. Reeves doesn't so there's little reprecussion for teams to constantly target him.

I just don't see why we would spend the money to re-sign Reeves (he's an UFA this year).

Why not use that money and a bit more to get a "real" 3rd CB who's a veteran?

And then use a draft pick Day 1 to get 1 more CB.

And we let Ball and Oglesby (sp?) battle it out for the last spot.

Suddenly, we could be deep at CB, IMO.

In the past two playoff losses, the Dallas offense couldn't take advantage of injury depleted defenses and simply didn't score enough points.

In the past two playoff losses, the Dallas defense held the opposition to 21 points.

The Cowboys need help on offense - at least 1 more gamebreaking playmaker. A high quality punt returner would help too.

In the grand scheme of things, Reeves is small potatoes. You can win a playoff game with someone like Reeves at DB .... (the Seahawks did it last year and the Giants, this year).

The NFL is an offense-driven league. First and foremost, the Cowboys must to improve their offense.

Well eduncan kept saying for "Jerry to get his checkbook out..." in regards to Reeves. He needs to write him a check for a one way ticket out of town, preferrably to one of Eastern rivals so we can throw against him.

Correct me if Im wrong but didnt Reeves barely make a roster spot on our team when final cuts took place. I dont think wed be missing out by letting reeves go. Im sure there is going to be veterans targeted and I hope we go after one this years draft is also pretty stacked up with Db's with great upside.

When opposing coaches and QB's look forward to you walking on the field that should tell you something. How Reeves returns is beyond me. Reminds me of Petitti in his last season.
