Well now that we got Garrett who is supposedly all-world anyway I'd just go with Reeves. He wants it bad and he's a proven commodity as HC.

The other guy hasnt won much of anything as an HC..... coupled with 2 inexperienced coordinators to boot doesnt sound so compelling.

With JG in the fold to mentor Romo, then I'll say Reeves. He has the gravitas to handle TO.

Keep in mind, we're losing one of the biggest personalities in Football coaching history in Parcells.

The temptation for the team to fall apart in the vacuum of losing Parcells is huge... so I think you need a guy with some skins on the wall to keep everyone in line... and I think Reeves fits that bill much more than Turner.

I'd still prefer Rivera or Phillips though to shore up the defense, which I think is our biggest achilles heel.

Mickey said on the Ticket today that Reeves was told the Cowboys aren't interested.

Norv... shoot me, I like the link to the Jimmy Johnson glory days, and think he'd be a great asset to Tony Romo's continuing development...

I also think his previous two coaching stints came in no-win situations with the Faiders and the Skins... name one coach who has had any real success with either program over the last 10 years or so...

But if Norv is the head coach and Jason Garrett his offensive coordinator, the Boys had best find themselves a REAL good defensive coordinator... my worst case scenario here would be Todd Bowles, who I think might be good in that position... my best case scenario would be to bring in somebody like Wade Phillips to be the DC, somebody with a proven track record in the 3-4...

I suspect age, and Reeves' cardiac history, are the main reasons...

That is sort of like the game Death is Not An Option in which you must choose a date among 1. Golda Mier 2. Janet Reno or 3. Dr. Ruth Westheimer.

Traumatic experience.:(

In that situation, the only correct answer is a menage a trois with Janet and Ruthie...

Reeves without a doubt. We can make excuses for Norv in Washington, Norv in Oakland, bla, bla bla....he is a good OC, but apparently doesn't have any leadership ability or something. Gets to HC and folds up like a lawn chair. Reeves has at least had a notable track record.
