Can anyone summarize the existing and potential HC vacancies? So once they are all filled, we can put the drama of Garrett being hired as one to bed?

They were saying when Pioli was hired that he'd likely get Kirk Ferentz, who of course is a very well-respected coach at Iowa and was Belichick's OL coach at Cleveland. That one does make all kinds of sense.

And the Jets I thought wanted Ryan, but of course he isn't finished yet.

As for the Raiders... Who knows. Maybe someone Al runs into at 7-11. Or Jim Fassel, who's been openly campaigning for the job.

I thought I kept hearing that Ferentz was telling anybody who would listen that he wasn't interested in leaving Iowa?
